Having proportional controls on a RC car like this is a definite bonus. The model itself certainly has some novelty value and is nicely detailed plus it has a quirky sort of appeal even to hardcore RC enthusiasts (well those with plans to see how crazy they can mod it anyway!).

I don't have the d12 (yet), but I do have the d32, and i have to say it's the best cheap RC i've ever had. The quality and control it offers is beyond my expectation. The only down side is the lack of a rear diff, which makes the turning less predictable. So I put Tamiya Mini4wd one way wheels in the rear and the turning is now butter smooth. I also put on their soft diameter slicks on all four wheels for extra grip. And of course, i made mine 2s. A 450mah just fits. It's super fun to drive inside the house because of its small turning radius. Much cheaper and durable than mini z for indoor driving.

@@TomleyRC wuling is not regarded as a very good quality car. Before this they created mostly breadvans (mianbaoche) which is a nickname for delivery vans as they look likeva loaf of bread. The wulings are usually smaller and therefore more suitable for narrow streets.
