I'm just wondering whether a Police Officer would ever arrest someone for Magnet Fishing, possession of equipment for Magnet Fishing, under the 1988 Offensive Weapons Act, OR since 2019 the Criminal Possession of Offensive Weapons 2019, which makes Private Possession in the home a Criminal Act. Here's the definition that would worry me (n)the weapon sometimes known as a “manrikigusari” or “kusari”, being a length of rope, cord, wire or chain fastened at each end to a hard weight or hand grip;

@@Northantsmagnetfishing Isn't a Magnet a 'hard weight' on one end of a rope, and it could be argued gripping the other end of the same rope with your hand is a 'hand grip'. @__.-.-_...-..___ is wrong, because it is a another stupid recent Law, not a stupid comment, as the Police and Courts interpret stupid Laws exactly as it suits them at the time, as we've all seen already on numerous occasions.
