I love these xs wrench pliers, however there is one problem I would like to warn everyone about, they can slip out of your hand very easily, they are very strong and when you are fasting something very tightly they can handle the forces extremely well, but can slip out of your hand at this point, mine did and I was working at a hight of 3 stories high, so they fell to the ground and got damaged, I had to use another xs cobra plier that came in the set to push that round joint back in to place, but unfortunately when the handles are locked it doesn't always lock from going the other way anymore like he demonstrates @ 4:35. Overall these pliers are awesome I love them, but if you're working near water or on heights or engine bays anywhere you can lose them or if they can fall from a serious height keep in mind that they can slip out of your hand easily!

04 is not the size of the tool. First 4 numbers denote the type of the tool. 100 is the dimension in millimeters

Definitely. Knipex makes great tools for EDC. My 4 inch cobra has never let me down. I was VERY tempted to run with this one you’re reviewing, since i have a leatherman for many gripping jobs. I might make a change one of these days. Thanks for the review, Crispy.

Knipex (pronounced kuh-nip-pex, btw) is an excellent brand. We use them in our family for years, even though it is hard to come by where I live. When I go to Europe I also come back with some tools for envious friends. They are well worth the money because they will last you at least 5 times longer than any other tool.

Knipex. the "K" is not silent. the "i" is long. say "Cneepex". i am German. i have the 86 03 125 and 180. best there are in their size.
