The worst age for modeling? - there’s a “gap period” in your career as a model

It’s like a low season… But longer.
Of course, the situations may be different, but in general, the age between 30 and 40 (for some models it 35 - 45 etc) considered quite strange in terms of modeling…
You are not super young, yet not old…
*And I want to make it clear that I’m saying this from the industry perspective - of course you can be young and gorgeous at any age - it’s more about the feelings than the number. But we talk about the business here.
At this age you are young, but not young enough to for the jobs that require super youthful fresh looks + not old enough to fit into “senior models” category or be considered a “silver model”.
This is why it’s very important to plan your career wisely.

I feel like this is the same with actresses too (not men, shockingly 🙄🙄) where once they've passed from mid thirties which is like the upper limit to play the ingenue type roles and before they're "old" there's a big dearth of roles to play except for vague "mom" type ones.
