If we were truly looking for the worst sounding albums of 2020 it would be 10 random albums from people no one knew. So already in these videos there's the context of 'this artist is large enough that I expect better.' the context of the Torry lanez album *makes* it a worse album, and you could say that's because melon doesn't stand for what the album stands for, but like... That's why it's garbage. He's lying, he's using the drama for clout, he's gaslighting meg, and THAT'S why it suck. its incredibly boring but it just being boring isn't why it's the worst album imo. G easy dropping a bad indie sad boi album is worse than some random indie sad boi releasing a bad indie sad boi album because of the context, and the fact that g eazy had to go OUT OF HIS WAY to do that. Like no one asked for it. An album isn't just a collection of songs - or at least it shouldn't be. That's like saying a painting is just the image itself. It should represent something, and it should be cohesive. If the thing it represents sucks, it becomes a worse album and I think that's fair.
