I agree with a lot of these picks, but I still think you're sleeping on Peep. The man had an incredible influence on the emo rap scene, and his mixture of trap beats with more traditional pop-punk and emo guitars was something that put him a cut above the others in the scene, and he's got more heart than a lot of emo rappers now (I mean, don't get me wrong, Juice WRLD and Lil Uzi have written some bangers, but I don't think they've written anything as good as "star shopping"). It sounds natural, with a bit of a punk edge, a lot like Sunny Day Real Estate, and I think the messy production only helped that, the same way it helped Lil Pump's debut (and, conversely, damaged his latest release). And no, he's not a great lyricist, but that's kind of the point. Whereas X was trying to be deep and meaningful (friendly reminder that he called himself a genius), Lil Peep was writing about his day to day life-- the girls who didn't like him back, the drugs he was doing, and not in a way that screamed "I'm trying to be a revolutionary" so much as it screamed "I'm trying to process my own problems through this music". Either way, I know this is just your opinion, and you're entitled to it. Keep up the good work, Melon.

There was only one song on Lil Peeps Hellboy mixtape that had scream vocals (Which were not even the main vocals they were ad libs) every other song was way more pop punk/emo influenced (it even features the ex vocalist from Tigers Jaw on the song Absolute In Doubt). Im not going to argue that Lil Peep's music is "good" by any stretch of the imagination (definitely a guilty pleasure listen) but its enjoyable especially if you enjoy catchy emo pop punk and "underground" southern rap. The way that Anthony described the mixtape was poor and actually makes me question if he even properly remembers listening to the album. It was pretty disappointing to not only see the mixtape labeled as one of the worst albums of 2016 but also the poor description had me upset as a Lil Peep fan. STILL LOVE YOU FANTANO!!!!

When you would mention a track, I would have to close out your video and find the track, listen, find your video in my history and continue on.
