And if you're gonna go the edgy route, you better buckle up And handle what comes at you . Now, I'm all for dark humor, finding laughter in the darkest corners of life. But there's a fine line between edgy and downright offensive, especially when it comes to race. It's like, if you're gonna joke about stuff that hits close to home for certain communities, you gotta be ready for the backlash. Take that George Floyd joke, for instance. Not only was it in poor taste, but with everything going on, it was like pouring salt on an open wound. And here's the thing about audience diversity: it matters. You can't be cracking jokes about one community to a crowd that's mostly from another. It's just asking for trouble. Props for offering condolences, but seriously, switch it up. There's a whole world of dark comedy out there to explore. Don't get stuck on one tired joke. Keep it fresh, keep it edgy, but most importantly, keep it respectful. At the end of the day, dignity trumps a paycheck any day.

The G League should incorporate a youth academy system. Allow G League teams to sign maybe 2 players under the age requirement for the draft and turning these teams into piplines for their NBA affiliate team. Having one team AAU team compete against older players doesn't sound effect. But, this only works if there is more consistency in the front office of these organizations.

The biggest problem with making all-star game exclusive to people who wanna participate, is that you would take away the all-Star selection off these star players resume. Some NBA players contracts gives bonuses for being selected as an all-star. It wouldn’t be right to take away their all-star appearances. Just imagine Hali only getting one all-star appearance his whole career because he chose not to take the all star game serious

My problem with sage and Omar take is the fact this isn’t the players fault it’s literally a reflection of the media and the fans. You guys made ring culture and ring chasing so pervasive that these players look at everything else as unimportant. Because no matter how great you are if you don’t have at least 1 ring all your accomplishments mean nothing. Because everyone is making all this money they are gonna take all star break off, to make sure there healthy and to enjoy time with their family to prepare for the off season cuz that’s what yall in the media and fans care about any way. Comedy should start to become objective to a certain degree, because there’s 4 main things about a joke, it’s pacing, delivery, punchline, and even the joke itself all are very important for a joke, regardless of whether it’s dark humor or not. All 4 of those things that guy really didn’t have. He relied a lot more on the shock value of it, and if I want to be real disingenuous, he just relied on the fact that it was a bunch of white people in the audience to really get that off. At the end of the day, comedy and laughter is a coping mechanism to get people through rough shit, but when you’re *job* is to make people laugh, coming from all different kinds of backgrounds, ethnicities, you do need to take care to properly word your jokes. And if you’re brand is doing dark humor, then you really should double down, because not doubling down, and not to an extremist level, shows that you really were using shock value to get something off.
