I think you'd enjoy the ARL-44, in spite of it technically being a heavy tank destroyer; it can pen the Jumbo's UFP and /usually/ one-shots tanks, except when Gaijin decides to delete all of the spall at random intervals - but it's a fun sniper tank nonetheless

The Lorraine 155 has the same shell and it's also got the WRONG filler. The AUF1 can also fire *any* 155mm shell as it uses seperate charges. Should have given it the funny full caliber 155mm AP shell. Would be more usefull than the shitty HE and the proxy that doesnt overpressure tanks with roof shots.

Maybe the prototypes fired M107 and OE mle56 but all AuF1 entered service with the new OE CCr F1. Due to the crapped nature of a turret with a 1970s autoloader, M107 pf wasn't used (too complicated to set up when in there) and a new proxy fuze was adapted to a modified CCr-less OE F1 named OE F2, which allowed PF, delay or PD.

If you think the AuF is bad, probably shouldn't try the G6 Rhino. It is worse in every way except turret traverse speed, which doesn't matter because it has a limited traverse (+/-30 I think). Also it is an even higher BR.

Day 3: you should play the M42 from the Italian tech tree. It has quad 20 millimeter canons with 48 millimeters of pen. You can kill Shermans from the side and some t-34 right in the turret. You can even kill m6a1 from the side. It’s also just a monster anti air. It shreds through anything. The preforante mod.35 belt is the best.

Everything about AuF1 screams potential: -good round options -incredible reload of fire -large ammo load -outstanding mobility in both retreating and positioning -50cal -commander-gunner control with extra zoom - a fully traversible turret -spaced out modules and crews -smoke grenades You can do just about anything with all these good features. Yet, just having the a hut-sized turret is very unwieldy, its the only thing that bars the AuF1 from consistent good games.

You should try the 2s3m only using AP. The AP is much better than the HE because it melts through Panthers and jumbos upper front plate.

If you are fighting a heavily armoured vehicle from the front with these huge HE guns, you can often shoot the ground under the tank and have the splash penetrate the underside and take them out. It works better than you might expect it to, I use it quite frequently in the type 75 SPH and the AVRE.

This and the G6 “Rhino” are way too high in br especially the G6’s turret can’t rotate all the way around the reverse speed makes it impossible to turn and reverse at the same time and the reload is really bad for how little armor it has

Here’s a tip for Artillery vehicles like this: You can use Proxy HE to top-attack enemy vehicles that are behind cover or some terrain. (I’ve done it to a Strv 103 in the G6.)

Most people if you bring 24 rounds you basically can't be ammo racked. Most people at that tier don't expect a turret that's basically invulnerable to shells (unless they go for the breach) it's also decently mobile

@Wandhydrantt but its better cuz its faster and if you ain't a german main you can think for like 3 seconds and utilise this cool tactic called flanking, I dont know if you ever heard of it but its very effective and fun, even if you sometimes die without kills because you get noticed. That's why my favourite vehicles are the lightly armoured BT7's, the paper-thin M18, or the russian low-tier sppa guns with AP shells on the fastest milk trucks ever. Dont know about you, but i researched the tiger, had some fun games (3 kills on average per match) had some really great ones (11 kills once) but its nowhere close to the M18 (my favourite tank) in which I once got 17 kills in one match and didn't die. It's because some people prefer dexterity and utility over armour and huge guns. But that's just my opinion (yes I think the 3002 is better than the panther in every aspect except armour). the proxy's have higher pen for some reason than the normal HE. so for city/close range i'd suggest using that. then again proxy's are bugged and now explode in a way where it wont damage a vehicle at all if the proxy triggers.. even open tops LOL

Ha i was playing this just last night. I think its pretty decent does pretty well against soviet tanks. I think its a bit more survivable in uptiers where most people are starting to phase out of APHE and use HEATFS and APFSDS since theres a decent amount of empty space in the turret with less ammo.
