You continuously elevate my love and appreciation of ballet and challenge me to work hard while respecting my body. What an inspiration you are! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and incredible work ethic along with the realities of your vulnerability as well. I appreciate you.

I'm there now. At 53 I'm stronger in my body and core than ever before my injuries. She's so wise and insightful. This to her. How long it takes doesn't matter as much as how well it takes.

The fear I have for turnings or big jumps is injuries. But it’s not because of the pain. I can handle pain… im more afraid of how much time I could lose in practicing due to injury or would I ever be able to come back…I cant imagine the same fear upon a young person with much more hope and future in front of them. Thanks so much for the sharing and glad you had a full recovery ❤

I am injured now, and I hope you are right! My PT couldn't fix it, so now it is off to the doctor for an MRI. Still doing barre but I can barely bend my knee. I am devastated.

I hope you are able to find a specialist who treats dancers or athletes, and that you get good advice and treatment. Sending you very best wishes for a full recovery.

could you talk more about the rehab process? I find that during days that I need to rest, doing rehab exercises can feel lonely...like not having positive feedback from the teachers, not having peers around...I feel I seem to get more emotional than necessary sometimes during the recovery time.
