I've gone to college for 10 years, changed my major twice. Stuck it at Computer Science, and I'm honestly good. Let me be clear: I went in with the full intention of learning. I have been to ONE spring break, and I intend to go next Spring (if it happens) I have failed a lot of classes. I failed my first run at Data Structures and Algorithms. I failed Calculus 2 three times. I failed Calculus 3 two times. I'm no slacker either, but I didn't really push myself in high school so it came back to bite me in college.

I've been in college for 6 years now. 3 from my motherland/country, then I came to the US and they said my degree was from an unknown country so I have to start over. I graduated now in Graphic Design with a job offer sstarting at $65,000 but I declined and I am back again for Software Development. Being from a third world country we don't have our parents pay for our studies or trust funds like some people in the U.S. but for some odd reason I keep getting scholarships and grants and they just make college an addictive place to be. I met some of those "lifetime bros" there and I am still meeting and hanging out with new people every semester. It has been a blast but if I had to go back in time, I would probably go a different route and go to our national university, which is in the Top 3 party schools in the US, I might have never graduated if I did though lmao. I missed out on some American-styled social life due to living in a crime-filled country where people don't socialize out of fear, so college was really my way of earning it back.

He was charged with aggrevated assault and battery with a lethal weapon or something along those lines. Happened in Feb 2021

This is pretty common in Portugal. I think because of our Praxe tradition, there are a few students who only party and attende Praxe, and never even finnish all first year's subjects.

The funny thing is, I actually took eight years to graduate college. However, only seven of those years were spent taking classes as a took a gap year when classes went remote. The reason I took so long is because I only went part time which required me to stay in school for a couple extra years to graduate. I'm autistic, and with my learning differences, going to college full time just wasn't feasible for me. However, me taking longer to graduate wasn't simply about extending the college experience. I have now been out of college for 14 months having graduated in December 2022. This still resonated with me a lot given my unusually long college journey.
