Iron chain. The deck has the hardest time even summoning (lvl 6) iron chain dragon. (Lvl 4 non-tuner) Repairman which can summon an iron chain from GY can’t summon a lvl 2 tuner because their only tuner is lvl 3. And it’s main focus is being a bad mill the opponent’s deck. Which has and very much was even before their release, one of the worst strategies because it gives your opponent more resources.

Nah... frankly being able to make an omninegate when playing PUNK + Kashtira after only 2 summon is sooooo bad. Like what are you gonna use it for? To stop a nibiru? Why would I want to be able to make a chungus + fenrir minimum when i get droll and lockbirded?

Nice video. On a serious note if you wanted to play a different version punk that has an okay matchup against fire is punk kash. Got close in 2 regionials in this and last format with it. Won 2 out of 4 games agaisnt snake eye borh going second. I could’ve won a third if I did a different thing with siding since time was getting close.

My locals, at least the day I go (it has two separate days it hosts advanced tournaments), tends to be pretty rogue-heavy. Though Kashtira PUNK is incredible into rogue, I enjoy playing the GP version a ton - this version has been fine for what I'm trying to accomplish. I do hope though that, in the case Snake-Eye isn't hit on the list, I'll pivot to Kashtira PUNK.

Punk literally is just a mathmech but a bit bad Pure punks can run a lot of non engines with it having 12 starters like mathmech Punk therion is just like having adventure engine Punk gold pride literally gives you a lot of advantage There are worst decks in yugioh and plus you're comparing a tier 0 strategy to a rogue strategy which doesn't make sense. If you think sky striker can go through it's entire deck why not check out PUNK Gold Pride it literally leaves you less than 20 cards after doing the full combo All in all PUNK is not the worst deck its a rogue option and competitive viable enough to be

Damn, Punk really fell off, it feels like this deck can't work with any archetypes these days. Looks like I'll have to pick up a new deck or something, one that can work in pretty much anything. Oh, I know! Time for Malicevorous to take the stage! This can be splashed into any deck and it'll become Tier 0, it's a no-brainer! I also got insider info that Konami will be printing more support for this archetype that'll make it even more efficient on April 1st, 2025. 🤪🤪🤪

I can't believe I glossed over how awful that card is. Like how is it that it's only unaffected by ACTIVATED EFFECTS and not ALL EFFECTS? Again, another case of Nintendo missing the ball...
