I've always had my eye on the game and i love watching the anime. Although i never felt that i had my deck and that i was just playing cards because they were good. A year ago i discovered the Danger Monsters i love Cryptids and the paranormal so seeing these monsters based off Cryptids was hey these are my monsters. And i found they paired really well with Dark World which i always liked but always thought they were evil which apparently they aren't. Hopefully Konami keeps them that way. I'm a sentimental person and like believing in stuff so i like the heart of the cards and duel spirits stuff. So i like having Danger Jackalope as my duel spirit and is my mate in Master Duel. Similar to how Jesse had Ruby Carbuncle as his duel spirit. But i'm hoping the Dangers can get more cards we are due at least one because of that unknown one on the "Your in danger" trap card. And i hope Dark World can get some more lore maybe their own solo story in Master Duel.

Soooo glad to get these videos recommended even months after their release. Such clean, insightful videos that always leaves me satisfied and pondering.

Sometimes I like blending archetypes and creating my own stories and themes. My main deck is primarily a Red-Eyes/Buster Blader hybrid, but also has things like silent swordsman, dark rebellion xyz, fallen of albaz, black luster envoy of beginning, etc. sprinkled in. The theme I went for was "an order of dragonslayers allying with like a family of dark dragons." and just built around that theme primarily, with my extra deck bosses being the result of such an alliance, like red-eyes slash or dragoon. My best friend was mainly playing blue-eyes at the time, and I just naturally gravitate toward fantasy themes like warriors, spellcasters and dragons, so it was like- these two factions had a common enemy in the form of blue-eyes. It's my main cuz it's alot of fun to play. Even when I fail to bring out dragoon, I still have options to go into, and it's even gotten me to platinum recently on master duel

I disagree a lot with it being 'just another waifu deck', it's a fresh take on the series that feels interesting, and being hacker programs it just makes sense to tie them to otaku subculture like this. If you think neonpunk hacker is seasonal anime stuff then you really haven't been keeping up with anime. If anything, it's fantasy that's oversaturated, so they did something different and leaned into science fiction for the double meanings.

I dont know much about duel terminal lore, but I do play shaddolls so I would like to say Gishki Ariel eventually becomes corrupted and turns into el shaddoll apakallone and nehshaddoll ariel. I dont know the order tho
