What….. That bike brings back so many good memories. It was my first bike when I was 10 years old, 35 years ago.Completely stock with everything in perfect working order.Blinkers, headlight, taillight and even the horn worked. Indestructible! Wish I never sold it.

Should have seen it when I got it… the tank and rear fender are repainted with quality automotive paint and automotive clear coat. Looking for graphics as we speak. Engine is going to get rebuilt with the bbr 95cc big bore kit. Rebuilding these engines is comically easy

I have a 1989 125 XL, and it runs really great, even compared to a modern XR 150, the XL is more potent and the materials of curse way better

I think you need a bore and some rings. My brother and I had the same bike in the 80s and 90s. It ripped for what it was

@1661st_Moto I ride my 2004 xr400r on the road. Want a Ninja zx10r 1000cc one day. Getting older now though so wouldn't mind a classic like a Boneville or maybe even a Harley one day. See where life takes me. Love that little bullet proof 80 though. All jokes aside it's a fantastic little bike.

This is a great little bike.no appreciation for quality.Bike is 40 years old and still running.quit complaining and fix it properly.the only thing it needs is a respectful owner.My 1982 xl80s works great.

I wish this one had cdi. It’s a points ignition in this one
