Even though I am an EU fan it is horific to think this is our 2nd seed. G2 shows in back to back games that they can go even vs the east and improved their macro a lot compared to last years worlds. Yet FNC is still doing the same shit they did in the past 3 years. They have the talent and hands for the mechanics, but when it comes to macro it is like a fish trying to climb a tree. Never going to happen. The fact that argueably BDS has the 2nd best macro in EU and they are not at worlds, because they aren't that good of a laners is also sadge.

bds aint here cuz mad randomly beat g2 in a bo5 when they were at their worst and bds lost to fnc (bds were at their worst at in this bo5) and bds had to beat g2 to get to worlds and even tho they lost they still did better than mad (2nd time) and fnc (all times). Its sad they bds are (allegedly) disbanding cuz they probably have what it takes to contest g2 for LEC dominance.

@@danranger2821 If Leaks are to be trusted, BDS are building a stylistically similar roster but with more consistency as Adam is replaced by Irrelevant who might not have the potential highs of Adam he also doesnt have the catastrophic lows that'll lose you a series, plus Parus has looked exceptional in the ERLs so he deserves a shot. I think they are playing their cards right all things considered

@@armandklink4843 BDS as an org outside of league is known for making really good decisions (at least in the games I follow), I except good things from them. Even in LEC they've been making mostly good decisions since joining.

@@danranger2821 Yeah sad that they are disbanding if the rumors are true. For Adam I understand why they wanted to change him. Personally never liked him as a player. He either played his cheese picks which after some time didn't even worked and got picked up by other players who performed better on them (Olaf, Darius) and when he was on meta champs if he played a tank he sacrafised way too much to funnel gold into their carries and, became a cannon minion. He needed way too much time to pick up new champs. For the other 4 I don't know why they would want to change them they are all pretty solid in my opinion.

@@armandklink4843 I think Adam is overrated. He might have had high-high, but most of the times those came from his pocket picks, and their lows came from playing the meta. The fact that when Kennen was meta for most of the times they had to bann him on blue side just because Adam can't play him was terrible for them. He took way too much time to learn meta champs. And other LEC top laners mainly BB and Oscar showed that his pocket picks Darius and Olaf can be palyed better. Irrelevant in my opinion may not have that big of a skill celling what Adam had, but don't forget the fact that he played in SK and most of the time he looked the most consistent. Unlike Adam he showed a lot of improvement in the last year and plays meta champs way better.

I think it's quite the opposite, the main problem with FNC is that they play like they are DESPERATE to prove to themselves that they are good, trying to be the hero, like they are massively insecure about their own skill and they try to overcompensate every game, watching interviews with Oscar and Noah (and razork to an extent) kind of proves this to me, they don't trust themselves at all.

FNCs entire coaching staff is a joke, they don't know what to draft, they don't understand their own players. congrats bringing in Jun for Noah but that just shows how the coaching staff is completely clueless behind them. Watch any behind the scene video and say that the coaching staff is not the one doing the paycheck stealing.

The thing is they HAD that guy last year who can direct the map, was pretty vocal and also fluent on English. At this point it is a Humanoid Razork problem, not pieces around them. Toplaners, coaches, supports, ADCs, all changed around them, the main problem is still there, so who do you point fingers at now? I don't know coms cuz we don't have them but from eye test alone Humanoid is not that macro genius shotcaller that people are painting him to be and I might need more than fingers on both my hands and legs to count how many disaster plays Razork made in mid-late game destroying all of his genius early plays. But honestly they just need a guy on any role that will say "stop fucking inting by running at them. We are winning, play the map steadily" AND those mfkers have to listen to him. Cuz I can say for sure Razork and Huma were definitely not listening to those calls from whoever the shotcaller was and we have seen enough of their disasterclass of macro if they are the main voices. You can change any other pieces around them till then but until they get a shotcaller that will be listened to and is smart about the game those changes ain't leading anywhere

There are no players who could replace current rosters and perform better. -Mikyx was my top support in EU and this season he has been running it down but there's no one to sub. -Yike was the rookie of last year and now my eyes bleed when I watch him, but the only better jungler atm is Razork and FNC sure as hell ain't gonna let top1 jingler leave. -Noah isn't going to get the job done but who do you sub in? Crownie? Give me a break. -Oscar might be better than the rest of the EU tops but do you honestly think he is the answer? Basically, as bad as the EU teams are there are no better players to sub

This game was so hard to watch as a FNC fan, this draft is not a FNC draft. Also the macro is a huge issue, they just roam and try to find fights with 3 tanks + 1 hyperscaling mid champ ? To be honnest the moment I saw the draft I wanted to dodge the game, we can't contest anything in early/mid game with this comp. And it's not GENG, it's FNC the team known for their proactive jungle/supp. Like what is going on ? Not to mention EVEN if they scale and stall the game they really think Smolder alone will be able to kill all of them before MF + Rumble + Yone kill the others ?! They just have to press R on Rell engage even if Smolder dodge it it's lost. And of course we can't play side lane because our macro is trash and our champ are bad in side laning against Yone. I mean any hardstuck gold / plat player could be better in coaching those players. They have hands with 0 knowledge and a coaching staff that are residentsleepers doing nothing to help the player improve. Most coaching staff in LEC / LCS are useless af and can't do good analysis on draft / can't even explain the game plan to the team on the theme of the draft. Disguting

I am FNC fan and it hurts that they are flamed so much but it is true that they are bad. I dont know how is it possible that after that long time they have played together, they seem to not improve much. I mean they are individually skilled players, but something just doesnt click in this roster, everytime they show up they are making different mistakes almost as if they forgot what they learned before and then its just vicious cycle of learning and forgetting or idk. I love their personalities but tbh if they wanna be competitive they should maybe make some roster changes, and I agree that they should bring someone smart about the game, I heard that humanoid is doing all this macro thing even in reviews but his personality is not ideal for teaching others and calling what everyone should do in the game. Although i think that FNC was so shit few years back and then they made their way to atleast 2nd best team in LEC, lately they have not been improving at the same pace as before so I say change SOMETHING in the roster.

Honestly the longer you look at this draft the worse it is for Fnatic. I am pretty sure the combination of Yone/Rell/Rumble has a 100% winrate in this tournament. It's like a wombo combo, but without the need for the enemies to mess up. Then you have MF for even more AOE dps... So basically if at any point 2 or more people clump up together, they get insta killed.

My biggest problem with the current roster is that they just don't care if they win or lose. Those players aren't locked in or let me say most of them. Winning mentality isn't there and if they don't change anything, I don't see FNC win anything in the near future tbh. Who to swap? I mean, in my opinion I would definitely get rid of Oscar, Humanoid and probably Jun too. Jungle and ADC are just fine I guess. Man I miss the good old times with this team. I feel like it's hard to somehow build a connection to those players since they seem like to not give a fuck about anything.

The games feel like there is no direction given. The player´s micro is fine. Not Top-Tier, but they could win games, if the macro would get adressed. Humanoid getting catched over 9000x times every single game. Razork overforcing every mid-game, Oscar having crazy incosistencies in his playstyle. Noah and Jun are making the least mistakes. But in the End you cant really see who is making the macro calls in FNC. Maybe no one and its just Soloq.

Been a fnatic fan since day 1. I love this team. They are so bad tho. I was also a Humanoid fan since before he joined FNC. But he is bad. Plain and simple. I legit think a player like Perkz who isnt that good anymore at the game, meaning he is not the best player in europe he used to be at his peak, would make this team better just because of his game knowledge. And I think recent years made him drop his ego which is something Humanoid needs to do asap, but unfortunately i dont think he is capable of doing.

FLY played a scaling comp against PSG and played towards their win conditions. Them "nearly losing" was simply them playing towards the strength of their comp. The main reason FLY won was they giga outdrafted PSG. FNC played a somewhat scaling comp and used their scaling Smolder to TP flank without scaling. The main reason FNC lost is they giga outdrafted themselves into a losing position. Hope your shallow mind can comprehend all this kid

@@javi4591 FNC literally played an extremely hard scaling comp, two hyper-carry AD laners with 3 tanks. Them trying to fight on instinct repeatedly, not playing to the strengths of their own champions is the reason why everyone is bashing on them. The draft was quite horrible (giving creme yone at any point), but they didn't even understand the identity of their own champions - so honestly don't know if to blame coaching staff or their own in game decision making...

@@rexah5452 the thing about their scaling comp is that it's not even a good comp to begin with. They're full AD (smolder is no longer a good semi AP champ) and Kasante is not that good against vs Rumble on side. They giga out-drafted and played like a pick comp. But honestly their macro is the worst. They couldn't determine that investing too many resources to pick off Rumble on sidelanes was not worth it when enemies have 6 grubs. Of course they'll loose 3 towers in 2 minutes or so when they all go to kill the rumble on side and enemies start crossmaping

had similar thoughts, but for me it was time for huma and razork to go. keep the Korean bot lane, oscar is still relatively new, but maybe he can work on his decision-making and macro once razork is gone, since they have the Spanish connection

I disagree. I think Razork is the only good player on this team. Huma and Oscar are both extremely inconsistent but they are bad more often than they are good. Noha is just not that good in general. This was the worst Jhin I have seen all torunament. Jun idk. He is not terrible but he is also not outstanding. I thin kick everyone but Razork. Including the coaching staff because they obviously don't know what they're doing.

Funny enough, this was also my take last season, i mean year after the league ended. I sincerely think they just need someone like Armut on MAD. Like indiviudally, dude wasnt that good, not bad either but the macro and teamfight knowledge of him literally carried MAD imo. He even nearly changed the DWG Mad series either. So as you see, not every player, especially if they arent Mid or Adc should have super crazy mechanics lol. People dont understand teamsports in general. Any teamsports you talk about, doesnt matter, you will ALWAYS gonna need very good players and players that can enable them. With that MAD roster, Humanoid seemed like fuckn Faker and Elyoya was just smurfing, Kaiser was great and Carzzy even was considered as Nr1. And after they didnt have Armut on their top, every player seemed worse individually. And thats because of what i said. Armut is imo, one of the BEST ENABLER in the west. Sadly unlike Asia, West doesnt care about teamplayers. TLDR, Being able to carry is a talent and being able to enable other players is also ANOTHER talent. If you build a team as 5 "carry" players, that sadly lacks that enabling talent, then you see games like these and even worse than these. TBH LCS was always like this prob because of the general american "hype" culture but LEC respected and used players like i described. Over years, i realised that viewer generation changed and these people just doesnt understand strategy and therefore MOBA. They were trying to play Counter Strike on League lol. Find a player like Armut, change it with Oscar, then imo change keep the bot lane and the rest.

No one in the community actually considers the west a world champ region. The only reason they won was because LCK and LPL haven't touched the game at that time lol. Have you ever seen their skins used in a pro game at worlds? Nope. Because no one respects that win. Have you ever heard of the main broadcast mention that EU has won worlds before? Nope. This FNC team in season14 has good players with zero macro. ZERO! And most of, if not all the points Dom has made are true. The most painful part is they've kept the core of this team for almost 3 years (kinda like T1 roster) and they have almost no improvement in every facet of the game. Their couches don't even draft like they believe in the players strengths. So again, why should I respect this team just because they happened to win during the prehistoric times of the game when they competed in Phreaks basement? Sure, I do have respect for the Org (they birthed 2 of the most legendary EU players in Caps and Rekkles and had the greatest rivalry in the west with G2 Perks vs FNC Caps) but this team? Hell no! They should disband asap! Sorry for the rant man. This is coming someone who's fed up of being an fnc fan
