I did the math using the average price of stingers in a 1 pack and accustrike darts, and the blasters and darts cost you $4.40. That means they’re charging $15.00 for the game that is effectively a hunk a of cheap plastic.

Hasbro did clog up the board game shelves, but there are other companies still out there, like Goliath, Mattel, Spin Master/Cardinal, and Pressman. Funnily enough, in hobby board games, the situation is reversed, with Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast/Avalon Hill not having many hobby games out there. And many of the easier to grok hobby games are making it onto the shelves of Target and Walmart (with Toys R Us leading the charge before its demise). And Hasbro's answer was...to pump out more games instead of seeing why people are liking games like Ticket to Ride or Catan over Monopoly retool # 200 (or why people like some of their hobby games like Lords of Waterdeep or Betrayal at House on the Hill [though the latter is getting the retheme treatment because of course it is]). Kinda speaks of the same thing as the whole reason why we got Ultra and Alpha Strike V1 the way we did. And as a fun fact, Hasbro ditched some of their games from their acquisitions or games they invented, like UpWords (Spinmaster), Lucky Ducks (Pressman), and Gator Golf (Goliath)

i like the squeaky. I'm a little surprised they come with 8 accustrike darts. I would've thought they come with 2 ultra darts and made some ultra blasters for this. Then maybe the game could cost 400 dollars. (i really gotta stop giving hasbro ideas, it's gonna bite us sometime) I was disappointed when i didn't see luchathor throw a jolt at the board when he ran out of darts. maybe next time

I find it odd that I am going to disagree here. I had a lot of fun playing this with my friend at his kid’s birthday party (before the crisis)... in fact I went out and bought one for myself and my kid shortly after... I DO have to say though... it is far MORE fun playing this with Knockouts modded for Half Darts (via your mod idea) at at least 25-30ft from the board. Whole different game at that point
