Most bad games I’ve played in the past were always down to technical issues or overreaching. Sonic 06, Duke Nukem Forever and Ride to Hell for example were just unfinished or poorly optimised. Even though bad you can see the developers had a desire to create something great but just couldn’t. Today’s bad games are in my opinion worse, they are boring. Nothing different, never try to be anything other than a copy and paste at something that’s already popular. Boring is much worse than bad. Another thing is instead of making just one good game and seeing how well it does they already layout multiverse guff such as movie, book, tv shows before they’ve even sold a copy.

Agreed, Duke Nukem's development cycle was also tragic. Ride for Hell Retribution was at least funny in some parts, due to how bad it was lol. The churn of open world games, with barely any thing to do isn't helping either. Boring games get turned off, where you can at least laugh over a bad one. Yep a few developers fell down the multiverse trap this year. Thanks for checking out the vid bro, hope you enjoyed it!
