That last point about most modern games having updates allowing them to slip past any ''worst games of all time'' lists is really smart actually, it will be excruciatingly hard for any modern game to strive and genuinely be worse than some of the worst in history. On another note though, games like FNAF Security Breach and... _95% of ''Mascot Horror''_ exist.

Really, I think that development times for games need to be taken into account before debating how good the game is. It would be unfair scoring games that took weeks to code, compared to months, even years! Duke Nukem Forever was poor! Immense development time(a decade!), only for it to fall flat on its face on final release!

Big Rigs failed so Trackmania could succeed. I think Trackmania (Nadeo) took some of those ideas and improved on them while adding on a buildable by players (custon tracks) approach. That was some of the worst falling through the road into another part of the environment I've ever seen (

I remember being a kid and getting E.T. the video game for Christmas that year. I thought it looked lame and I remember being confused when I fell through the floor on one level and could do nothing else. None of us knew about game bugs back then. If they had fixed the bug and then gave customers the updated game, I doubt the industry would have crashed; and I bet we'd have better games today. The bar and standard would be higher and there would be a lot of happy gamers out there. I bet the number of gamers in general would be a lot higher today too. The Atari and its games cost a fortune back then and I'm sure many many families found it to be a horrible investment and moved on from gaming altogether. Sad but it's part of the history. Saddest part is that it seems as though developers still haven't learned anything from these mistakes.

What an amazing experiance running thru that first level witht he whale breaking the bridges behind u. I loved it and have fond memories. I never played very far into it however.

I think sonic 06 is one of the worst games of all time because of how it still affects Sega to this day, with us going through a kinda reboot era after forces where most of Sonic’s friends don’t appear because Sega is too afraid fans will hate them. Like we haven’t even seen shadow since forces. We are getting him in the new generations remaster, I just hope the other side characters can get more of a focus.
