@@BuddsyWV no problem mate. Been driving myself for 10 years , 5 of which have been full articulated trucks. At first you always think you’ve done awful or you’ll never pass or you keep making the same mistakes. You’ll pass when you’re meant to pass and you’ll look back and laugh at about what all the fuss was over. Once you pass you’ll develop your own driving style which is comfortable for you. But on the day of the test just drive how they want you to drive. All the best mate and stay safe.

@@BuddsyWV yeah mate I passed a few months back first time but was really stressing the test. I think the best things to do is to only tell minimal people about the test because you will always be thinking about their reaction to you passing or failing. Also (this may work for some people but it helped me) go into your test and think that you’ve failed from the start, that way you’ll just drive normally as if nothing matters. It is crazy though because when you look back at the test you passed on, you’ll wonder what the big deal was. I’m sure you’ll get it soon boss. GL

Update for you guys, I PASSED my test at Wednesbury on the 4th of August with 5 Minors, never give up guys, Just try to control your nerves and imagine the examiner is your driving instructor and it's another lesson, you can do it!

Awesome news, on my test It was no different from having my driving instructor to be honest, except he wasn't talking about my driving or things to be careful about, just telling me to pull over and parallel park and turn left or right basically.

Despite him failing, I don't think Zach is that far off. For one thing, he's got a good awareness of what his strengths and weaknesses are, which is more than you can say for many learners. His main issues really are hesitation and the stalling, which probably come down to nerves or lack of confidence. With a bit more confidence, I reckon he'll be a pretty good driver 🙂 (And I'm not just saying that because hesitation, stalling and reverse bay parking were the bits *I* was worst with as a learner 😂)

@@BuddsyWV I struggled with hesitation too! I nearly failed my 3rd test due to hesitancy at a roundabout. You’re definitely a good driver, and there’s nothing wrong with being cautious (considering how others drive haha) but it’ll just take some more practice and once you get that confidence I’m sure you’ll pass no problem! Keep at it, you’ll definitely get there :)

Passed my test recently after struggling for a long time with learning to drive and numerous failed tests. These videos have been such a help! To anyone learning don’t give up you’ll get there! I watched all of your mock tests and other videos and I also bought the Ultimate driving course. Hi Guys, I passed my driving test on the 28th April with zero minor. I would recommend this channel and the ultimate driving tutorial. I watched almost all Taz driving lessons from the beginning to the end and others who took Mock with pin .One extra tip i used was to talk myself through my driving on the test day. The uk driving test is soooo much more demanding than the USA. If one can breathe one passes the latter!! Jesting aside pretty much all cars are automatic transmission and the test and license are identical making it far less rigorous on the 🇺🇸 . No wonder there are so many fatalities on US roads annually.

honestly, just learn from past mistakes and never be afraid to admit them. even when I passed I was a nervous driver, but then I started driving to places I have never been before. places that had harsh roundabouts and motorways. when you travel enough, you realise its really not so bad. all the best of luck to Zachary

Hi everyone I have not the best experience witth doing my test On my first one i failed on the last road not stopping for a cyclist, carring on with covid i wated 9 months for my next booking all to arrive on the day and get sent home because the car did not have a cap on the wheel bolts after 4 extra months I booked again and passed today with 4 minors all I can say is keep going watch lots of videos on youtube like these stinkers to understand the road and spot errors - Thanks Dng as he helped me alot i rewatched all his videos over and over

I had my test today but i failed for 1 serious and 2 minors and the serious was appropriate speed he told me i was driving slowly i was doing 25 on 30 i even went on national speed road and hit 60 but at the end of the test he told me i was driving slowly and pulling out slowly even tho i was making sure that there’s no cars around so I don’t slow them down i think at the end it’s all about the examiner if you get a picky one he will fail you for anything

Well, people often need to take their foot off the brake to use the clutch, so handbrake can be useful to prevent rolling, especially on hills. In some cases it's your choice whether to use the handbrake, but generally speaking it's necessary to use it whenever you're moving off after stopping or stalling

You gave him a minor fault for stalling at the beginning, but in past videos you haven't given other learners a minor fault for it. You have also said that it's all down to how you react, but you also said he reacts well. Why did you mark him down for that?

Stalling is a minor fault and will be marked down on your test. It's not something to worry about though unless you stall more than about 3 times on the test, plus if you react dangerously like panic then it could be marked as a serious. In other videos Pin probably didn't mark it down because it might have been a lesson and not a mock. If it was a mock then it should have been marked as it is a minor.

That was like me when I was tested for my multi engine pilots licence -the brakes in an aeroplane are on the foot pedals-we were stationary on the taxiway waiting for Tower to clear us for take off.
