T1 was absolutely not the best team in the world at the time. They didn't even make MSI finals and Jin Air where the only team they beat in the first 3 weeks for LCK

Jinair's fatal flaw was not having enough cash to keep their budding talent. They were always first to bring in new prospects that ended up becoming huge stars domestically, but after a dominant split, bigger orgs would just buy out their star players leaving them defenseless against the other LCK teams for the following split. Truly a tremendous loss for the Korean scene.

JAG were the titan killers for a few years, taking random matches against the best teams! I still remember the relegation series, the HLE coach was moved to tears in the post-match interview because I think he knew that would be the end for JAG and his friends on the team.

JAG also held two unbroken records on a single match against SKT during 2018 Most creep kill by one player (teddy's sivir a whopping 1400+ in a single game) And also the longest live game on pro league level (94 mins and 40 seconds) And they also won that game.

Nothing compared to Team Dark, which is unarguably the worst team in OGN/LCK history, or even in League of Legends history, and ironically, they actually made history, by being the only team to ever get disqualified and all the games declared as losses. Imagine all your games being perfect losses without a single minion? Yep, that's the worst. Jin Air doesn't even come close.

Summer 2019 people were expecting G2, or T1 to be the best team in the world. FPX didn't really show how dominant they were until elimination stage of worlds. In groups FPX went even with Splyce. And IG was being outperformed by all 3 KR teams.
