I'm seeing on Twitter that this was a controversial chapter in the manga? It was a lot with the nudity sure but still pretty typical of things that we see often in anime unless I'm missing something

Twitter people being Twitter people. This episode was pretty faithfully adapted from the manga (though a bit rushed?), and they included the wacky ending. Reminds me of American Pie or something. But yeah, Twitter people are always outraged, trying to cancel everything.
