11:20 -> I believe you had a guaranteed Jump S-Air cause he had no dodge, diagonal jump GP would be guaranteed because he jumped so that would be another option. Anyways, great video! My input was not to bash you, but since we're doing replay analysis, i figured that if i can give any constructive criticism, i should do so. Sometimes a look from the outside can be healthy IMO.
@vynperm3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! And don't worry about a thing, I love getting constructive critcism! The only reason I didn't go for either of those was because I felt he was a little too high for it, and also because I wanted to try to jump GC Nsig read. Of course, my option didn't work, so it probably would've been best to at least attempt the options you stated. Thank you again! :D

I deal with it kinda the same way you did in this video. I wait for them to throw out an attack then I punish I was in gold so usually when people just threw out moves they would stick to the same pattern. Waking up, dodge in, dash back etc. Thank you for pointing this out though cause it’s nice to know we kinda think the same when dealing with someone who only attacks
@vynperm3 жыл бұрын
That’s great! Ppl who constantly chase you are frustrating until they lose stage control. Once you start making them follow your distance, it’s much easier to punish their repeated attacks. Thanks for sharing! 🤗❤️

Yo. Do you have any tips on improving reaction time? Cus’ i have a hard time reacting to things like sigs
@vynperm3 жыл бұрын
Sure! A lot of it is spacing. It’s much harder to react to a quick sig when you’re close to them rather than when you’re far. Ofc, you can’t punish a sig if you’re too far away, so try to stay JUST outside their attacking range. That way, it’s easy to react bc you only have to react to the end of the sig (bc you’re farther away), and also you’re in the perfect distance to punish. Hope this helps! 🤗

Another good thing is expectation and attack timing. For example, if the opponent is an orion who's in neutral, and after like a good 3 seconds of neutral they do a dash ssig or nsig on lance, you can try to expect and I guess "predict" the next time they do it, especially if it's a bad habit and they constantly do it. A lot of people in lower ranks usually have very undiverse attack timing, meaning that they always do the same attack after a certain amount of time. It's good to spot out habits on players so you can counter them
@hipsterviking26583 жыл бұрын
8:49 as someone who tends to play aggressive on katars and makes dodge reads and what not. He could have more than likely got you if he had went into a dair into the ground on you rather than a sair as dair has a bit more range, then he could have probably insta dlight into whatever.
@vynperm3 жыл бұрын
For sure, Dair would’ve more likely hit me, altho waking up was definitely not the right option there. He already wasted all of this options, so committing to something like that is very risky, esp since I had already started to dash away to space my punish

Whenever im playing my mind just go fully instinc mode and block all thoughts to observe the play mid game or is it just a new player thing since i just had over 150+ hours and preety new to the game.
@vynperm3 жыл бұрын
I’m glad it helped! Yeah it’s often a great idea to just spend the first stock or so doing reconnaissance on your opponent so you can judge what options will be best. If your opponent is trying to read after every string-starter, then just dodge. If they’re trying to react, sure waking up isn’t a terrible idea, but it’s still safer to try to jump, fast-fall or just dodge. Hope this helps! 🤗

How do you analyze people in match/replays? Like, when i go to my replays I just watch the whole thing, I don't know what to analyze.
@vynperm3 жыл бұрын
The key things to look for are how, and why someone got hit. For example, if you got hit with a massive katar string, look at the replay and find did they dodge read you? If so, which way did you dodge? Have you been dodging that way or was it just an educated guess? Oh, I dodged in towards center stage when he did Slight Dlight? Ok, next time I’ll make sure to dodge a different way. Ofc there are way more things to analyze than just dodge reads such as spacing and if correct/efficient use of your options, but that’s just one thing. Hope this helps! 🤗❤️
@DjmanG3 жыл бұрын
@@vynperm Thanks! It gave me ideas and different examples, but other questions I have is, do I necessarily have to analyze my opponents fast? How can I analyze them faster? Thanks for responding. Sorry, if I seem dumb, I'm 12, almost turning 13.
@vynperm3 жыл бұрын
@@DjmanG No, always take things at your own pace! Don’t try to copy the speed at which I analyze in this video, I’m just very used to this type of thing. You can get faster at analyzing once you know what to look for, and what your strengths and weaknesses are, that is if you’re analyzing yourself. But again, speed of analysis doesn’t matter. It only matters whether you can apply what you learn in-game. Good luck! 🤗🍀🍀

When someone tries to hit you immediately after they get hit, or when they do another move to cover a whiff (like missing sword Dlight and covering with Nlight). It’s called a wake-up bc most ppl would expect you to dodge, and if you just hit them the moment you exit hit stun, it can surprise them. Although clearly it didn’t surprise me in the gameplay 😅😅😅 Wake-ups are almost never the best option, they’re best as mixups
