I was in year 9 at high-school. I remember opening my daily pack of BBQ shapes. Knowing it was the new recipe. I was optimistic “why would they change something so perfect? They must have a good reason!” I bit into my shape. And the utter disgust that formed on my face was palpable. It tasted like I had just bitten into a biscuit covered in paprika-flavoured chalk. I shared them with my mates who had a very similar reaction. I walked to the bin, slammed them in there and began to complain to my friends. A silence had grown between them as we realised that we may never get to taste normal shapes ever again.

I literally remember the day that they started removing the Krushers. I was craving it and begged my dad to take me, went to the usual KFC but they said that they stopped stocking it, and to check the other one's if they still had some left. What ensued was depressing duck chase to all KFC's within a 30 minutes driving distance, but to no avail. And to add insult to injury, every time I go to my grandmother's house, she for some goddamn reason still re-uses the old branded Krusher cup, so I can never forget this tradgedy for the rest of my life

The reason KFC got rid of the crushers(worked their for 6 years) was becasue mold would in the inside of the machine and instead of fixing it they chose to get rid of it, it was the managers on duty who were supossed to clean them every night but never did

I knew something was fucked about the Barista Bros iced chocolate when I last had it in 2022 but I was told I was an idiot for thinking it tasted different, it tasted very powdery, like water with a tiny bit of chocolate power in it. Back when I was in TAFE around 2013-2016 those were the shit, I didn't care I was pounding money into the vending machines at TAFE I fucking loved them, they got me through the early days of pushing myself until 3AM playing GTA with friends and then getting up 3 hours later to get the bus to TAFE and hardly staying awake. Also KFC changed the best item on their menu - The Twister, by removing the lettuce and tomato and replacing it with some cabbage mix trash and completely ruined the Twister. I haven't had a Twister since, I don't intend on having a Twister, and KFC is ruined for me.

I absolutely loved those KFC krushers. Cookies and cream was my favourite. I was a little devastated when they got rid of them. As far as the AU Falcon is concerned, the fact it was the most polarising model Falcon ever built due to its "feminine" looks and if these looks were on some no name random car, it wouldn't have caused much fuss but the fact it was on a volume selling car it caused a huge stir amongst the buying public. However the more sportier versions of the AU Falcon, the XR6 and XR8 actually saved the day on that front. But like anything, it had to be improved on so there was the change from AU1 to AU2 and then the AU3 which doesn't make sense to me. The AU2 appeared around August/September of 2000 and then twelve months later the AU3. Then a year after that the BA Falcon arrived. I suppose you're not so fond of the BA Falcon but there were huge improvements over the AU in total which are too numerous to mention but most are the obvious. One of which ushered in a new era for the Falcon. That was the launch of the XR6 turbo with the mighty turbo Barra six engine. Certainly a new weapon in the arsenal as far as bogans are concerned in my opinion.

It's funny, when the KFC Krushers were around, I didn't get them that much (maximum 5 times maybe), but knowing I could have it if ever I wanted to, was strangely comforting. I was genuinely disappointed when it went away and I went thru a similar phase of denial to yourse, thinking they would come back eventually
