That is so sweet that your mother gets you a card on the anniversary of your liberation from drugs. It's like a rebirth of sorts. You are all very lucky to have survived all you went through. Your story makes me think of the story of the prodigal son in the bible, how he left home and went through all sorts of things, but when he finally came home, his father was there waiting with open arms, full of joy to have his son back. I'm glad you made it.
