It's honestly hilarious thay Lionsgate still had the balls to make a fourth Expendables movie a decade too late with a budget of $100 million (My god, i don't even believe the fourth movie cost that much) given that the third movie flopped at the box office and literally killed the franchise. Didn't even think that Expendables 4 could've gone way worse eventhough they've said that they're bringing the R Rating back but nope, it didn't save the movie either. I guess it's Rest In Peace for the franchise 😂

I found the first three movies on blu ray at a good price (so I thought at the time) so I bought them and tried to watch. The first was so cringe and eye rolling, but I made it through. Forced myself to watch the second one, since you know... I own them. I ended up turning it off halfway through. These movies are terrible. They should have just named them Testosterone: The Movie. Since the third and fourth are allegedly worse, I'm glad I stopped when I did. Those discs went to Goodwill.

Haven't watched any of the movies on your list (thankfully!), try to avoid the ones getting panned. But of the 30 or so movies I've watched this year, my least favorite was "Barbie". It felt more like a Will Ferrell movie than a Greta Gerwig movie (I can't stand Will Ferrell movies). I loved "Little Women" and "Lady Bird" so that was so disappointing. I even thought maybe it's just because I'm a guy, so I asked a lady I work with and she said she sat through 15 minutes and couldn't stand it. So at least I'm not alone.

Not the absolute worst film of the year, but Rebel Moon was absolutely horrendous to me. It’s so uninspired, boring and bland. I can’t recall a single character’s name or any story elements. It’s just such a boring and forgettable film and I honestly wish it didn’t exist. What could’ve been so much became one of the most infuriating films ever.

I will do Top 5 worse cause it's FUN 5. Manodrome - I watched it in February and I don't even remember it 4. Totally Killer - wanted to like it so bad, but the dialogue is just horrendous 3. She Came To Me - Is it a comedy? It's not funny. Is it a drama? Cause the dramatic parts are when it gets funny. The aspect ratio changes oml 2. Infinity Pool - Idk what the second half of that movie even was but Mia Goth crushed it (again) 1. Old Dads - I'm a massive Bill Burr fan but this felt like an Ali Express version of "Curb your Enthusiasm"

I don't really have that much of a "worst list" because I don't tend to watch that many movies that I have no interest in watching. That being said, here's five of my least favorite movies of 2023: 5. The Last Voyage of the Demeter - This movie is easily a "meh film" for me, like I didn't hate it, but didn't care for it either. It was just yet another slasher that had an interesting coat of paint on it, which was that one chapter in Dracula. 4. Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 - I'm easily in the minorty of the discourse by saying this is my least favorite film in the whole trilogy. Now, I've come to appreciate it more after a few rewatches because that first experience in the theater was aggrivating. Some of the emotions in the film worked pretty well, but other times, it just felt artificial and cliche. Many of the jokes didn't land, the character grated on my nerves at times, and the ending just felt so unsatisfying. Idk, this one just didn't work for me, but I'm glad that everyone else got something out of it. 3. Peter Pan & Wendy - As much as I respect and admire David Lowery as a filmmaker (A Ghost Story being one of my all-time favorite films), this film was just so dull and uninspired. I don't know if Disney had their hands all over this mess, all I know is that I sat down and watched an ugly-ass movie that had some of the most bland versions of these characters and Neverland that I've ever seen. Jude Law and Ever Anderson weren't too bad in it, but the boy who played Peter Pan was such an incredible miscast that I felt really bad for the kid. Overall, this was really rough to sit through, but hopefully, David Lowery will once again use his Disney check to create another classic with A24 or someone. 2. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny - I originally thought that this was slightly better than Crystal Skull, but the more I thought about it, the more it just made me angry. I'm sorry, but I hated this movie. It took one of the most iconic characters in all of cinema and made him just a complete, pathetic shell who is just dragged through the mud by Phoebe-Waller Bridge's character, who I completely despise. Madds Mikkelsen was more than an inspired choice to be the villain in an Indiana Jones film, but they underutilized him. That is MADDS FRIGGIN' MIKKELSEN!! How could they have fucked that up so badly?? The movie was too long, the CGI at times was laughable, and the story was so all over the place. I hope that there is not another new film in this franchise, and I would 100% rather watch the Uncharted movie again over this. 1. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey - What could I even say that Austin hasn't already said about this movie? I remember my brother begged me to come watch this with him at the theater, and I was hoping for maybe at least a so-bad-its-good kind of experience. But nope, I should've known better. This will forever be the film that almost got me to walk out two times, the film that had me questioned my existence, the film that gave me an excuse to make a satirical TikTok video, and once I finally got home, I put on "12 Angry Men" because I needed a pallette cleanser- NO... I needed CINEMATIC BLEACH. It was painful, I hated it, I'm glad the actors had fun making it, but I just wish I had fun watching it.
