I am a certified framer at my local Michaels and I just want to say first off, I’m sorry that employee was trying to push his opinions on you! That is not okay. Suggesting it is fine but when the customer clearly states their idea, the employee should be able to come up with a design based off what the customer obviously wants. Second, if you ever get anything framed definitely wait for the 70% off sale, it happens every month for random amounts of time, because the price is mostly based off of the largest dimension of your piece which sucks so that sale really helps. Or they will accept a Jo-Anns or Hobby Lobby framing coupon too if those discounts are better! And lastly, if the piece is falling apart in any way you can take it back to them and they will repair it for free! I hope this helps. ☺️

When I need to frame something, I just add a backing and thrift a frame of a similar or slightly bigger size! Looks exactly the same as custom framing, takes 10 minutes, and will cost $3 at most.

My parents bought one of those name brand blenders, and they have literally had it for about 20 years! They got it when they married (2000). We use it multiple times daily (salsa, smoothies, thinning down soups, protein shakes, etc.

As someone who used to work at Michaels, those custom frames that they have to send out get loaded onto the truck with all the other merchandise for the week. They are not treated well. Regular employees are given a set time they Michaels thinks they should be done at (Never enough time) the trucks are often over packed and falling over, and they don't have enough "U boats" organize the items on. So what happens is that it gets dropped in the section as fast as the worker bee can. A lot of all that is the Frames and custom ones too. Its so much worse in the holidays but honestly its year-round. careful.

I work in a dental office- the gimmicky Creat toothpastes drive me crazy! Dental companies usually do studies and come in to teach us about how they work. It’s so opposite to what they usually do. Things like Charcoal and baling soda are horribly abrasive to use on a daily basis.

Plz do NOT buy charcoal toothpaste...the charcoal is not only super abrasive (removes tooth surface at a very alarming rate), but the charcoal gets stuck in your gums and causes buildup...if you want a good whitening toothpaste I really recommend the crest two step system!!

I'm so sorry about the toothpaste. I use a charcoal toothpaste I bought at the 99 cent store in LA (not crest) and I had never heard of it before (I don't use Instagram lol) so I had no expectations. I won't say it's extra whitening cause I've always bought whitening toothpastes but I have a bunch of dental issues/ toothaches and not only do my teeth feel amazingly clean afterwards but it helps with the pain as well (the way a good mouthwash can). And yes, it makes your teeth black when you use it (but I don't think that matters). I keep telling people how awesome it is. So I just looked and it's called activated charcoal extreme by natural white. Just FYI
