@@Z_Rodriguez13 After seeing a great video outlining how Pederson ran their offense in '22, their decent year where they mounted several comeback wins including in the playoffs it took me *one play* to realize that Doug wasn't calling the offense in '23. Or '24. Play-calling is one of those topics NFL fans avoid as if they feel they won't understand it. I personally don't get all the ins & outs or remember plays. But one can see when receivers are dancing for nothing or they're getting open. Lawrence is like any other QB: he can't be better than his play-callers. Look at how week 2 of this season Darnell Mooney had a better play for the Falcons than he had in 3 years with the Bears. He looked élite casually making a great grab, making a defender miss then flipping into the end zone like he was Tyreek Hill. _Tiier_ HC schemed him open. That of the Bears would send him short to mid, tell him to curl inwards & stand there, blocking the passing lanes of other receivers making both inaccessible. Lawrence is better when given a chance & I think Doug P. was actively trying to get fired for the past 2 years. Also likely 'cause of Baalke.

As a Jags fan, I'm really ticked off on how ownership handled this. Now that the damage is done, I think Saleh would be a good coach. The defense of Jax is trash. So that'll be an improvement and I think they can get an OC that is way better than Press Taylor

The Jaguars are like the Cowboys. Both have ownership that were never in touch or have lost touch with the NFL and talent. In Jacksonville, the owner hasn’t had the ability to hire a good general manager, and marry them with a good head coach. In Dallas, the owner, playing GM, hasn’t been successful and continues to fumble player contracts with the inability to pay a respectful salary and keep good talent around. In both teams, this is further evident by the player discontent and turnover in both the front office and locker room. When will both of these owners realize they are the obstacle in their franchisees way?

The Jags can still go for someone like Joe Brady or Mike McCarthy or Saleh for that matter, even tho i don't think defensive coaches can unlock a QBs potential and I see it as a wrong move for the Jags. Trevor needs an offensive coach who will open up the field for Vertical plays and with BTJ in play it can be very deadly. Yes, the average watcher will just blame it all on Trevor cuz that's how much people know ball, you can look at Darnold and how he has been unlocked in Minnesota, look at Stafford before and after he went to the Rams, same with Goff, do I even need mention Baker Mayfield who people thought was the worst QB in the NFL? Sure you can blame Trevor but his potential is there and his ceiling is higher than all these previous QBs I just mentioned. He just needs coaching that can fit him and I think now that Baalke is out and the Jags are doing a full house sweep, plus they have the 5th pick... there is a chance for success with the right choices. My pick is Mike McCarthy, he developed Rogers, won a SB, then developed Dak into a monster QB (yes Cowboys are terrible now bit that's Jerry's fault not Mike), I think Mike can unlock MVP Trevor and I'm here for it.

My pick is personally Joe Brady. Ever since taking over for Ken Dorsey in the middle of last year that Bills offense has been on fire plus as a Chiefs fan it would be a significant blow to the Bills if they lost their offensive coordinator at least I feel like it would be.

Oh and the best 4 drafted players we have had in the past 10 years are with the Texans, Steelers and Raiders.... And the team is full of players who don't listen to the nerd we call head coach...
