That Buick was definitely an OD, the fact there is no damage, trash on the back seats, maggots on the seats AND it's a repo, was definitely used for druggie money instead of car note.

Your idea of buying and reselling repossessed vehicles is a very good idea.

Hey Randy, I wasn’t able to comment on your post the other day regarding your consideration of quitting KZbin. Also the jerks who commented with malice regarding your posting old videos on how upsetting that was to you! I would like you to consider the other side of the coin and I have made this comment before. I have been following your channel for years now. I never miss an episode. I consider you to be hands-down absolutely the best automotive channel on KZbin! Not only because of the variety of vehicles and content, but you’re sharing aspects of your personal life and showing yourself to be, such a person of high character, a great father to Nick and all around stand up guy!that being said I am in a hospice house, totally disabled and dying. You have brought me so many hours of entertainment and enriched my life every day! I love your relationships with monkey wrench Mike and Santa the road trips with Mike and again I repeat your selection of vehicles is incredible. I forgot to add your enthusiasm and excitement and appreciation for these vehicles is so contagious! I understand your need to prioritize your life and live it the way it will make you and your family best. I just asked that you consider those of us who love and appreciate what you’re doing, and how it enriches our lives in addition to the other creeps that criticize!

These are just stupid things manufacturers do. Fords will slow you down and shift into park if the driver door opens. Same type of crap with auto locks. Border Patrol agents were shot and killed after being chased down and even though the SUV they were riding in had bullet proof glass, as soon as the officer put the truck in park to return fire, one of them opened the passenger door and began firing inside the SUV. This was because the SUV unlocks the doors as soon as you put it in park. Fleeing is another issue. You want to flee and not have your car applying the brakes or putting it in park. I get that children can open the door while you are trying to drive away but that is more on parenting your children better and not leaving it up to the manufacturer to implement more annoyances in their design.

A Hyundai with a grenaded GDI engine? Imagine that!
@Get_yotted4 ай бұрын
Those 3.3 GDi’s are solid, if they’re blown it’s because someone did not change their oil on them. I have a 2017 with the 3.3, 103k miles right now, only issue was an oil pressure switch that was replaced under warranty.
@SheriffJackCarter4 ай бұрын
Fords, and apparently VWs, like to tell you that the engine is on because the door is open. It's annoying as hell. If I'm in my RAM Promaster 2500 delivery van and I leave the engine running to make a delivery, the horn will honk when I close the door as well.

Those Mitsubishis have had very little updating over the years. My wife had bought one new in ‘17 and other than different upholstery design, the interior is about identical. About all they really did from about 2015 or so is change the look of the nose and to a lesser extent, the rear. One thing I can say about the one we had was that in almost 7 years and almost 100k, it had 0 issues and it made several long road trips averaging about 30mpg. As long as you change the cvt fluid every 30k, these things although simple, can last.

I have a 2016 Subaru Legacy that I currently have a little over 203k miles on it and the car still drives good, needing to do plugs and coils and changing fluids (diffs, CVT). I'm looking at changing the coils to hopefully fix the occasional hesidation when I would go to accelerate. The coils have never been changed as far as I know, I have had the car since November '21 and I bought it with 112K on it and I have replaced the plugs before, but not the coils.

The Trax being driven almost 30k miles per year isn't all that shocking especially in the midwest/south. Cities are far apart, super long highways and sometimes regional managers for example have to do a ton of driving for meetings, conferences or visiting multiple locations. I did about 25k miles per year when I was a regional manager at a retail chain.
