Couple issues here 1 loader tractors need a very thorough inspection to ensure it wasn’t misused causing “tweaking” to the tractor or loader 2 newer model tractors take more mechanical knowledge to keep running properly then pre emission tractors. The only equipment we still have that’s a newer model is the equipment using gps for precision control. The def fluid has sensor issues and crystallizes when sitting to long or getting moisture in the tank and letting the engine idle below 1000 rpm plugs the dpf beyond regen clean out ability plus you have to monitor where your exhaust is pointing during regen or chance a fire and also avoid dust/debris building up on the exhaust way more than an older model. It’s cheaper to do a repower than replace an emission series engine

This video is made by someone who knows nothing about tractors. Front-loaders.... have zero to do with buying a tractor. A tractor with a loader can be a hindrance to many buyers. No one sees a Loader tractor and thinks instantly that is a must Vs the same tractor, without a loader. Loader Tractors are inherently more valued by small mixed or purely animal-based farms - as the capital investment in a loadall/off-road fork is too much for the books. The Biggest Issues with buying a tractor is summarized as: 1) Dealer Support - no.1 reason to buy a specific tractor - who are your local dealers, and what are their reputations. 2) Reliability/Familiarity - knowing what you know about a tractor range, and your experience with it. 3) Re-Sale Value - The most important consideration that is often overlooked. We find it hard to buy "nice looking" tractors, like the new McCormicks for example; because their value plummets quickly per hour Vs a Fendt or New Holland of equivalent horsepower. However, going back to point 1.... if the only dealer within 50 miles of you is a McCormick Dealer, the likelhood of increased resale value and dealer support would likely sway you in that direction. Warranties are important, but farmers will likely prefer to have a 3 year - 2000 hour warranty with a reputable local dealer... than a 5 year - 3500 hour warranty with a dealer 150 miles away, with a product that shows signs of low resale value.

And to all of your points is exactly why I am exclusively a John Deere guy. I get excellent service, parts availability, and the best resale value on the market. 0% financing and excellent no hassle warranty from my local dealer. I have looked at other brands in the past and almost bought a Massey but the dealer support was not as good.

Rather not buy an used loader tractor. Loader tractors are always abused the most😂

@@FrisianFront The losder adds value, up to $10k. Abuse is dependent on the operation, but there's extra wear on the axles and hydraulics. Cheap "will fit" loaders are the worst, I have to say that JD makes the best because they designed them for JD tractors and beef up to tractor for a loader. Ie: extra frame rails and in some model connections to the rear axles. I wouldn't want an Allo or universal fit loader, even on a JD.

👎 Poorly done video, little research done, and no real information added. Auction tractors are sold as is, and "Dispersal" Auctions are usually working machines ready to go back to work. Older tractors are easier to work on and maintain... And few bits of the video actually matches narrative.

Well I'm not going to a critic they did pretty good job, and as far as the big comment on this post about a loader being a hindrance, most my life we only own nonloader tractors, and now in my vegetable operation only the cultivating tractor doesn't have a loader they are so easy anymore to take off when you don't need them and they add so much more resale value no matter what brand they are well worth having

We have a kioti ck 30 its built for farming very tuff tractor has 4000 hours on it for 30 hp very over built and done rhings it should have never done and toke it like a champ
