Ok, ok, hear me out. I was a judge at a small event. Everything went smoothly, and everything was fine. Until we reached the semifinals. I was ordered to judge the semifinals. For the sake of the people involved, I’m going to use some nicknames. The duel was between Michael and Jefry (again, nicknames). The first round went smoothly. Michael won the first match with Snake Eye, while Jefry played Lab. As the second round started, I kind of felt something fishy going on between those two guys, but I didn’t really care, honestly. I was just the judge, and I didn’t care if the players didn’t like each other, as long as the game wasn’t interrupted by stupid things. So here we go. Jefry went first, set three cards, and passed his turn. Michael went full ham on his combo with Snake Eye. Jefry interrupted him with Ash, Veiler, and so on. Then it began. Michael was really frustrated because his combos were interrupted, and he couldn’t stand losing to a Lab player. Jefry used Big Welcome to summon his Lady whilst his Lovely was on the field. He wanted to throw an Ash on Big Welcome. He told Michael that he couldn’t use monster effects in response to normal trap cards. Michael screamed for a judge. I was right beside them, sitting at the table, and I looked him dead in the eyes and tapped on Lovely. He tried to convince me that Ash wasn’t a monster effect because it’s a "Handtrap" and the word "Handtrap" contains "trap." That was his explanation. I looked him dead in the eyes and told him to read Ash Blossom. He then proceeded to read the card text, and as I interrupted him, he went completely mad and screamed at me that I was a useless judge. I gave him a warning and told him that Ash is a MONSTER card because she is a Zombie/Tuner. He went completely ham after that. I told him to be quiet and that they should continue the game; I warned him that one more interruption like that, and I would throw him out of the tournament. So he lost game two, and he was freaking mad about that. Then we went into game three. I was called to another table because there was a tiny problem with a misunderstanding, so I went to check. I was gone for about four minutes. When I went back to those guys, sat down, and looked at Jefry, he was crying. I was like, "What happened?" He told me that Michael ate his Lady. I was like, "Excuse me, can you please repeat what you just said?" He started to cry terribly and told me that Michael ate his Lady. I was confused and looked into Michael's eyes and asked him quietly, "Did you really eat his Lady?" He replied, "NO, why the f*** would I do something like that?" He started crying because he couldn’t find his Lady in his deck, and I told him that he might have lost the card and someone picked it up from the floor. (It was a smaller event but there were a lot of people walking around the tables.) So I asked around if anyone saw Michael eating his card. No one saw a thing. Then I told them they should continue the game. The problem was, a head judge heard about that story, went to the table, picked up Jefry's deck, went through it, and couldn’t find the Lady. So he gave him a game loss due to a deck error. I stood there like, "WTF just happened?" So Jefry lost his game and started throwing things around, screaming at me that he freaking ate his Lady. The head judge told him to leave immediately. He burst out and screamed so loud (he was 14/15 years old). He went outside the location and called his parents. I ran after him to check if he was okay and if he needed something. I gave him my water bottle, and he took a big sip and crashed into my arms. I was totally confused about what just happened. The parents picked him up, and I told Jefry he would be okay. I even offered him one of my Ladies from my binder (I had plenty of Ladies in my binder because I played Lab as well). A few days later, I heard from some friends that Michael IN FACT F***ING ate his card. He was drunk and told some of his friends, and one of them came up to me and told me the story because he knew I was the judge at that event. MICHAEL F***ING ATE JEFRY'S LADY, LIKE WTF was going on in his head? I told the owner of the location about that story, and he said the next time he sees Michael, he will give him a lifetime ban from his location. We never saw Michael again. And the story went down in history as the saltiest and hungriest Snake Eye player ever. Jefry never attended a tournament after that again. I never saw him again. I hope he is fine and that he didn’t stop playing Yu-Gi-Oh. That’s my craziest story. I hope you will read it and use it as a story for your videos. Sorry for my bad English; I am from Germany. Hopefully, you will read this comment and use it. Kindest regards, Soraey

Hey Loom, as a longtime viewer of yours I think you should prioritize story format Yu-Gi-Oh stories (like this one and the many others you have on your channel). I believe this content is extremely intriguing for viewers and can help differentiate your channel from other Yugitubers and give you great success (win-win). You're doing a great job so far, and I think an even greater focus on Yu-Gi-Oh themed stories would do wonders for your channel. Just my two cents.

i have a horrible trade history when it comes to yugioh. when it was first popular in the US, i traded an original BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON for a labyrinth wall... then about a decade later, i traded a foil brionac (at the height of it's brokenness before i even thought about looking up decks online) for like 20 cards that were barely worth anything. i thought i was basically stealing from the guy with how many cards i was taking and he essentially got a gold bar for pennies from someone who didn't know what they were doing xD.

I mean... I'm sure he could've kept in touch, if only to sell/trade him as many Aleister cards on the store as possible, assuming it isn't a particularly valuable card otherwise. Sure, he'd have to deal with all the crimson-red flags, and probably enable him to bring forth an unholy abomination from the underworld... but he'd have made a nice stack of cash.

I remember back then when PePe was the best deck ever, one guy that had crazy amount of money dropped to the store me and my friends used to play. This guy had all the cards foiled, extreme rarity and whatnot and got to play against my friend that was just messing around with a meme deck. Long story short, my friend got Marshmallon out on the field and, to everyone's surprise, the other dude couldn't destroy it even with his PePe and all the broken stuff he got. Match went into time and 5 turns and the guy lost because he lost LP before because of Marshmallon eff lmao After this the guy left the tournament, I never laughed so hard

Story: The year was 2019 I only played Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokémon 2 of the big 3 card games I had never really had an interest in Magic The Gathering i didn’t like Set Rotation the Resource system wasn’t engaging and over all it never tickled my fancy but my Older Cousin who we will call Alice Margatroid for convince and because I why not? (this isn’t their real name) kept pushing me to try and play Magic The Gathering and had the usual talk about how it’s better than Yu-Gi-Oh and more balanced the classic argument you’ve heard hundreds of times if you played a card game on the same day as a Magic Player I’d usually ignore these comments as they wouldn’t let me even touch their cards which was weird for someone who wanted me to get into Magic but one day I was able to come along with them to a card shop they would often go to I was just planning on just going off and doing my own thing but Alice was pushing me to try and learn Magic and after a while I gave in and bought a Green Deck Alice sat down in front of me so they could teach me the rules Now for some reason Alice was both super into teaching me but also losing patience maybe because I was confused on the terminology but we played it was slow I was able to get out a few strong creatures to Alice it was clear that Alice was holding back a lot but they were still vary confident in their abilities But that’s until I get enough Mana to get out Aggressive Mammoth a creature with Trample where basically it deals the remaining damage to the opponent now this doesn’t seem too significant and you’d be right except Aggressive Mammoth had a second ability where “all other creatures i control gain Trample” now considering that Alice was playing a low stated control deck ether Blue or Yellow I can’t remember and I had several high stated creatures who now all had Trample I was able to get all of Alice’s life down all the way to 0 winning the Game in 1 turn after this Alice was fuming but trying to keep their cool and failing they put it up to me just learning quickly and went to the next game The next game Alice curve stomped me and took Pride in that for some reason Alice didn’t like losing to their younger cousins so much that they went all out I did play a few more times but Alice was clearly only using me to test out new Decks which made me slowly lose interest in Magic because of this Alice did thankfully grow out of this phase but I’m not sure if they still play Magic That’s my first time experience with Magic The Gathering
