Dude, you do know that there are different lifestyles depending on the people right? Like for example there are still Nomadic Families living in Tents that use Horses for Transport and RV Families live in an RV because it may be cheaper than buying an expensive home or condo. I'm in my late 20s and still live with my parents and little sister, and I still share a bedroom with my sister and Mom because we live in a two bedroom home and our grandmother who owns the house lives on the second floor. Every Family has a Different Way of Living and That is Perfectly Fine.

I was a van life kid. I would've stayed a van life kid, but we stayed a weekend at our grandparents with our rv parked nearby and it was stolen, and I think my grandparents had some steal it because they realized how miserable and awful it was for us (me and my little brother). My older brother, 14 at the time, loved it for one reason. We shared a room. I was a young, 10-12 year old girl in 2019-2021. My parents refused to give us a 'sex ed' because we weren't old enough yet. I was the most innocent kid, I'd make cringey gacha videos and play with my stuffed animals. One time, I had a nightmare, so I climbed into my older brother's bunk and asked if we could cuddle. Things escalated, and it became a relationship. I was confused and scared, but he threatened to 'break up' with me if I told anyone, which was scary to me because I thought he wouldn't love me anymore. The rv shakes every time someone moved, so there's no way my parents didn't know, but boys will be boys in their mind. He stopped 6 months ago, long after the rv had been stolen. If we had never gotten in that stupid rv and had to do that dumb homeschooling, I could've protected myself. Now my mom wonders why I act so 'slutty' and why I don't like the way my little brother looks at me. He reminds me of my older brother. The rv ruined my life, my family, and my happiness. Please despite how innocent and awesome your kids are, don't buy one. Ever.

Bro.... You lived in a f*ing van , and they still couldn't protect you. I feel sooo sooo soo sorry for what happened to you. You are the main victim,but , I feel sorry for your elder brother as well. It's has nothing 'boys will be boys': No normal sibling whether boy or girl, men or women would ever THINK (or have it cross his mind) about doing anything s*xual with a sibling. It's so embedded in our society, and social thinking that people's bodies and mind automatically reject it. Imagine being so isolated from society, and being kept so ignorant, that one reverts to his animal state. The abuse. I hope you found a way to recover from all this, and have some peace. People should be aware about the dangers of so much isolation and keeping your kids ignorant about the world.

@@twstudios8538 Okay So do you know the Case of Gabby Petitio and how she and her fiancé Brian Laundrie travelled across America in their van in 2021 and then Gabby went missing ? They were travelling through the Grand Tetons and Gabby stopped answering her family’s calls , leading to a large search for her . Her Gabby and her van were missing , but oddly Brian came back to Florida and stayed with his parents even though his fiance was missing.The police were searching hard , and then the Bethune family were driving down a road in the Grand Tetons when they filmed Gabbys abandoned van that was on the side on the road and reported it to the police. Sadly , after searching a bit more the police found Gabbys remains 😞. Brian later went missing and his body was found. It was determined he committed scuicide and after looking in his diary , it was discovered that Brian had killed her by strangling her . Apparently, they were in a domestic violence situation and even though Gabby and Brian posted one video on KZbin and Gabby posted lots of pictures on her Instagram that portrayed that she and Brian were happy and in love , the truth was actually very sad and chilling . One witness claimed they had seen Gabby and Brian arguing in a restaurant and that Gabby had slapped Brian . The police were called regarding a domestic dispute, but they didn’t really do much apart from taking to Brian and Gabby . It’s very unfortunate that Gabby will never get justice. And it’s heartbreaking how she suffered. RIP Gabby 😢❤️

15 yr old here. As a teenager, my privacy is something that I cherish. There is nothing that could ever replace my privacy, like my chats with friends. I don't live in a van or in a small house but I have a decently sized family with a toddler brother, the size of my extended family is akin to 5 times the population in Stowe, USA and it is a flippin miracle that my parents gave me the privacy I need, with or without my extended family. Giving a teenager privacy is a bare minimum that shows that " hey, we trust you and we respect your boundaries". I will forever pray the best for kids that go tbrough with van life parents. I live in a fifth wheel. Just me and my dog. I own the RV and pay $400 a month for a spot and I STAY there. It's nice knowing I can get up and go but I have a job so I have to stay close lol THAT'S how campers are supposed to be used. For single people and MAYBE for couples with no kids. Once you have children, you need to be able to give them space and privacy. Especially as they start becoming teens.

The fact that the first family's kids live in coffin beds that make it impossible to bend their knees while the parents have a KING size bed and normal roof just below a AC is just... wow. "but... but... we have a king size bed because this is also a lounge area" okay? But why not turn that space into a bunk bed too? Like, leave the parents normal king size bed as is, but install a bunk bed on top so one of the children can lay on top and the coffin beds can be heightened and they won't be as cramped? They won't do this because god forbid their own space gets constricted... 🙄

I just wanna say I’ve met the family of nomads. They recently moved to where I have lived my whole life and Addison starting going to my school. We became super close friends and one time after school I went to their house . Addison mom is super strict and her whole life is revolved around social media . Right when I got into the car Addisons sister called her mom freaking out because her brother wouldn’t stop yelling . I got to the house and it was pretty nice but there are a lot of rules and there really isn’t anything to do. Acouple weeks later Addison stopped showing up to school which I was confused about because they still live in the same house . Soon I also realized she stopped showing up in the videos aswell. Addison never did her end of the year tests or anything she just kinda vanished. I think her mom sent her away to another wilderness camp or another mental hospital because she used to do it all the time in the past . I even tried texting Addison and her sister messaged me back from her phone saying “she can’t text right now” and that she didn’t have her phone . Wherever Addison is at right now I hope she’s okay . It makes me so sad her whole family is in Europe right now having so much fun and she wasn’t even able to finish her school year. Maybe somehow she will see this idk but Addison I really miss you and hope you’re doing okay .

Also adding on to this , Addison stated to me that she hated the camper life. She lived in a camper with no privacy or anything for 4 years. There was so much going on behind the scenes that obviously her mother didn’t wanna talk about on the internet . It’s so upsetting and again, just hope she’s okay

As a rat owner, the rats probably hate living in a van considering whenever they want to drive somewhere the rats are just made to deal with the shaking.
@StrawThatBends2 ай бұрын
exactly! and i doubt those rats are getting the attention and playtime they deserve. they should be getting attention outside of their cage every day, even when they have each other. they bond with their owners and i doubt they get a variety in their diet bc their kids dont even get that

I can relate to the kid posting about his life in an RV. I'm 16 with 9 siblings and we've been traveling in an RV for almost 2 months now. Its horrible. We have to share three sticky beds and our dog has sleep on the stairs to the door (which is a problem for him because when we turn on the generator, the metal stairs heats up). Our mom just vlogs and vlogs and vlogs, constantly taking pictures of us, the scenery, and the food. You may be thinking we should thankful for what we got, as our parents tell us, but no. Its not like that. Its hell. Not that I enjoy traveling all the time, RV or not, but I want to have a social life. And I want to feel like I earned it. I'm currently doing an online college course and its the closest thing I have to having actual curriculum. But I can't do irl studies, such as chemistry, biology, and such, because it requires me to be there. But my siblings are a lot less fortunate. They have to do these stupid outdated books and practice cursive everyday, which has been going on for years now. I wish i could say something about it. but it never works out for me at all. Whenever i do anything to question the situation, I have to do exercise numbering by the hundreds. That also applies to anything else my sibling do wrong, as I am apparently held accountable for it and its all my fault. My mom has been previously accused of domestic abuse on 2 occasions, but the justice system never followed up. My dad is too scared to say anything now because she's basically brainwashed him and controlling him. And he's just about hanging on a thread with his job (he works from home). So yeah, the traveling life isn't as fun as it seems. Edit: I know it sounds very untrue, and I don't really expect many to believe it. But I'm planning to call the police or other services.

To be fair, these days, kids don't learn maths in American public schools either.... Its far more important the leftist indoctrination. Go check the failure rate of american schools. Some locations, only5% of kids graduating high school can even READ. Much less do basic maths... American schools have turned into indoctrination camps, pushing alt-leftist nonsense, instead of reading writing, arithmetic and science....

They can. For example: A family of four is walking around Yellowstone National Park while filming Tik Toks. Suddenly they spot a mama bear and her cubs and decide to get close to film themselves. The mama bear gets mad and attacks them. How many family members are left alive? I'll give you a hint: the answer has fractions
