It's probably for the good sister. If they couldn't even agree with you on a venue, think of all the things that comes after the marriage. Allah himself has advised not to dwell on things that we lost, because he will replace it with something better if we put our trust in him. Trust the Almighty's plan, say Subhanallah and move on.
