Halo 4 has a really good campaign although the multiplayer while playing well is dragged down by the awful loadout system, Halo 5 is polar opposite to this where it has a really fun multiplayer but awful campaign

@@crustbound personal opinion. I HATE halo 4s campaign even more than 5s. 4 destroyed the entire lore of the forerunners and made MC the chosen one 🤮 And that’s not even including the gameplay. 4 has the worst gameplay of any halo game

@@LemonConsumption I dont really think 4 destroyed forerunner lore. it mostly just built on what we saw in H3's terminals. As for the genesong stuff yeah idk how I feel about that although it honestly isnt the end of the world to me

@@LemonConsumption No way Halo 4 had a worse campaign than 5 man. Halo 5 had an absolutely shit story. It's the only one where I skip cutscenes and tell the characters to shut up just because they're so boring to listen to. Also Halo 5 campaign had shit gameplay as well. Also, Halo 5's awful story set up Infinite for failure.

The broader audience situation is so hard to single down due to how many aspects it affects but it has been a major issue with 343 across their games, H4 was made with COD features to apeal to a new audience, H5 while I respect its movement felt like a departure from halo to capture the advanced movement trend, and halo infinite feels like a game that does not know what it is being some fucked up bearpigmonkey of an amalgamation of catering to OG vs new fans vs Boomers vs zoomers vs this and that yet also not being able to really apeal to any and also missing core parts of catering to its OWN audience

I disagree of halo being a casual game competetive play has been a major part of each halo game. The issue is competetive and casual play was completley seperate from each other. And due to them trying to make the game either completely casual or comp e.g. H4 vs H5 the influence carries over to either community. Look at H3 where there were MLG settings and casual settings both settings allowed both communities to thrive. The comp ommunity never asked for X Y weapon to be changed just for them to not be in ranked but be in the casual playlist. Instead 343 wants to force the sandbox onto both parties which has led to a huge tug of war and anger between the two communities. 343 need to just keep things simple, I mean I read the blog and they are trying to rework a ton of the weapons and it's like, just remove them from comp and let the casual community have fun with them LMAO
