Most players don't like living ships but I love them I have all 5 versions and 4 of them duped into my squadron that way I can summon them and fly with all 5 side by side like a pod this will be perfect for me

im a huge fan of the living ships. and this one is absolutely going to be my main. though i really do hope that Hello Games adds this as a new variant to find because i would love to see this thing in other colors.

Maybe this is supposed to be a way to test fan interest in new living ship types like this living fighter. It’s like how living frigates started out as an expedition reward and became integrated in the game. Makes me wonder what a living solar or exotic would look like.

I believe the cockpit is located in the middle below the pale skin bulge (which is the membrane acting as the windshield), the original living ships have that same feature - the blue sphere coming out the front is probably either a sensory (my first guess) or a offensive organ (maybe for the beam weapon?).

I really hope this means that maybe we'll see some more 'parts' being added to the old living ships..it WOULD possibly explain why I find SO many of them spawning with missing parts.. but very unlikely T-T

With you about not liking Living Ships - "NEVER get cozy with something that looks like it's just one bad morning away from going Full Face Hugger" has always been my motto. But this is beautiful. I'm wondering if there may prove to be variations, just as turned out to be the case with the Living Ships. Don't go for that many Expeditions, really. Reckon I'll be doing this one.

Just an appositely STUNING ship. maybe are old livening ship ends up evolving into this. like some kind of adult form. My only issues would be the lack of a new cockpit design and animation. Hopefully they go all in on the concept. And go cosmic horror techno organic from here out. Leading up to their new title Light No Fire lore wise.

Yeah i get only 2 stats sometimes, I think it's a glitch. A reload sorts it. I'm getting another glitch where I can't install tech in the humboldt too. Great video btw, and great ship.

This new ship looks great, but I am concerned that it will be under-gunned like the living ships. I have had a couple of beautiful living ships but I eventually exchanged them for sleek looking, more powerful and versatile sentinel ships.

The lack of the "pooper" looking engines like on the reg living ships is a definite bonus.

There hasnt been one thing about the living ships that I have liked and this one is no different. The Sentinel ships are much more appealing. That and the sentinel ships have standard upgrades you can put in. I'm probably turned off from the living ships because of the lengths you had to go through to get the 1st one when they were introduced.

It happens to me a lot too but it’s just a glitch when some of your ships stats do not show. Ive been able to fix it before by removing an upgrade, leaving the ship, then re-entering the ship and putting the upgrade back in. Doesn’t work 100% of the time though.

Great preview, thanks. This looks beautiful. I've always found the Living Ships to be miserably underpowered and so hard to upgrade (unless you over glitch them into some God-tier ship). So I'm extremely disappointed that this just seems to be a re-skinned traditional Living Ship. It would have been so cool to have actually upgraded and strengthened the tech... instead of just lazy revisualization. LAZY. Too bad. Still a stunner. But also an opportunity lost. Thx big time for the preview though!
