@@abeodez751 Because of the damage done to the transfere case, and the doubler, he was unable to do the dino test. He instead allowed his double, with the same engine do the test for him. The double vehicle, did more than 1600 on the dino.

Someone mentioned in a comment that Blue Steel didn't help Rory. I saw several videos that showed this event and it was true. Watch the wheel spin on Blue Steel. Rory didn't stand a chance. Good thing this event wasn't very serious.

I saw a snip of Rory talking about the event. He knew his rig had the wrong tires and the wrong gearing for Matt's turf, but it just didnt make sense to change it all for 2 days,

Yeah - many of them tried a true dead pull, Matt and Merlin were the only ones that could even get the truck to move a little. Matt went first in the dead pull... after not being able to go, they had Blue Steel assist in 2WD, unsuccessfully. Then assist in 4wd. No one there thought anyone took it too seriously. (Until Eric from BSF got the crowd going to use the Banana to assist with the dead pull - and broke the banana)
