Another great video mate, by what you say ebike would be great for the climbs will head over and have a go. May stick to the less steep side though! Even though both look steep even with gopro effect!

Why the hell haven't you got a flying car? Top riding and commentary as usual. Always a joy never a chore!
@Stopadoodledoo4 жыл бұрын
Obviously a flying car would be fantastic, Back to the Future had one and that is based on real history/past so we all know it's possible. What confuses me though is how Doc controlled altitude when the steering wheel would surely only control left and right manoeuvres. Over-thinking it? Yep 😂

Great video!! I grew up in the shade of the Malverns, they're stunning!!! I now live near the Wrekin, they're nice.... And yes, the Lakes are stunning!!! 👍
@Stopadoodledoo4 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. It's not that The Wrekin isn't beautiful as it is, but the lady I chatted to was making out like it was utterly stunning, as we were stood on the really wide gravel climb looking towards the communication tower. I think I was spoiled with where I grew up. Even now, after all these years ago, the scenery in the Lakes takes my breath away. Last summer, a group of us did a ride from Keswick that took us onto Whiteless Pike and from the top, we were looking down on Crummock Water, Buttermere and beyond, over the Irish Sea, you could see the Isle Of Man. Six normally shouty blokes not known for their serenity fell silent, apart from the occasional 'wow'

I love Hindhead, so many decent trails there including some pretty steep and loose ones. I much prefer it to Rogate. Not sure if it's the same nowadays but there literally used to be queues at the more popular trailheads on Leith Hill.

Cheers buddy, The Wrekin is one steep sided hill that's got trails galore and a high percentage of them are pretty damned steep. Fantastic location to go riding that I would recommend visiting, but it's unfortunately a bit longer than 40 miles and an hour away for you to get to 😃

Loved this vid! That last line looks steep, super composed riding all the way 🤘
@Stopadoodledoo4 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate. It was a pretty steep line but not ridiculously so and there were catch berms of sorts. I'll be honest and say I wasn't feeling composed down it all; I thought I was going to pop out on some crazy drop thing onto the fireroad (that scared the pap out of me on my previous visit) and it was playing on my mind a bit. I was relieved when I ended up somewhere else 😃

Subbed... love this clip mate, this is on my doorstep and i have ridden it around 5 times now and each time i go i find a new way down. the climb up is hard work isnt it, each time im getting further before pushing..
@Stopadoodledoo3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, really appreciate it. You are proper lucky having The Wrekin on your doorstep, there's so many amazing trails on that one hill. The climb is evil, especially as it's one of those that gets harder the further up you get. I reckon that I could ride up the whole thing at a push but I'd be so knackered by the time I got to the top, I'd just want to potter down something easy to give myself a rest 😃 There's a couple of lads from your way who ride up there a lot and have channels; It's Mr JC and Jimbo MTB; could be worth hooking up with them as they seem to know the place like the back of their hands. When all this crap is over, I know I'll be heading back there but there's a few other places I need to go first (Lakes being the main one - from there originally and just love riding there more than anywhere else).
@Deej-853 жыл бұрын
@@Stopadoodledoo Yes it definatly gets steeper the higher you get in the climb, you look rapid coming down and make it look easy and reallly good decision making at speed. Thanks for taking the time to reply il deffo check out them channels. Agreed the lakes are just awsome, one place i hope to shred in the future. All the best mate
