I’m Jacqueline Faye. My X Factor experience was something I’ll never forget, and I’m humbled by all the wonderful comments. My darling Husband, Bobby, died of cancer in May 2020. He chose that song for my audition piece that day. He wasn’t present because he was not only taking care of our livestock at the farm, but the cancer was taking hold, for the second time. I lost the ability to sing (due to grief) for almost a year. But I’m back onstage nowadays. I try to remain positive to honour his memory. Thank you, Simon Cowell and all the wonderful team on what turned out to be the last ever series of X Factor UK.

I just watched your X Factor bit again and read your comment about Bobby passing. I am so sorry to hear that. I understand how that is, my husband passed 2018, we were together for 47 years. But I am also glad to hear that you are singing again. I know life without your husband is so strange now and I am sure you miss him so much. It will get better as years go by and I hope that it is getting better for you. Jackie, you did something to me the first time I saw you sing, I just love you so much when I hear you sing. That is a gift that God gave you, so remember that when you sing you make people feel so much better. So it's a gift that you give to others. I am just a fan who is thankful for making me feel better when my husband had just passed when I first heard you sing. My husband was a musician and he sang also, he use to say that music is a international language and music is what love sounds like. When he felt bad he would listen to music. His dream was to go to England and go to see where the Beatles started. He could play and sing everyone of their songs. One day my dream is to come there and do that for him.
