People seem to forget that if Vegapunk survives Egghead, there is no reason for him to not help Luffy for anything in the future. The one piece is on the sun? Vegapunk could help. Spacesuits or suits to walk on the sun could be in his range if he can make suits to interact with light and holograms. The one piece could be anywhere or be affected by anything and Luffy could just call up old man Apple head and have him help them out.

Fun pirate fact more often than not pirates would wear eye patches even if they had both of their eyes working, this was done for the express purpose of having one eye dilated to the darkness behind the iPad and one eye adjusted to the sunlight above deck so when they would raid ships and go below deck they would simply move their iPad over to the other eye so that they already had one of their two eyes adjusted to the darkness and could continue writing ships at a faster pace as opposed to having to go downstairs let their eyes adjust possibly get ambushed by any crew that's waiting under deck

yeah this is an old japanese theory because roger says "そこ" which is "there" but can be a place right near the listener. そこ is also a way to pronounce a kanji that means "bottom" so some ppl think he could have said "i left it at the bottom" (of the ocean). but he doesnt explicitly say that.

I definitely think Luffy is going to lose his left eye. Back when he wanted to proof his worthiness to Shanks as a child, he took a knife and stabbed himself in the face. I think he missed his left eye because Oda wants to show us there is no shortcut to becoming the pirate king. You've gotta earn it. The scar underneath his left eye is like a promise yet to be fulfilled. By the end of One Piece Luffy will be the most pirate pirate in this story of pirates. Oda even said himself that there will be a pirate wearing an eyepatch and he can't wait to draw them. He also drew Luffy wearing an eyepatch.

I wouldn't say the straw hats are going to the sun or moon, but listening to a video like this does get the brain juices flowing. There's a lot of astronomical and even some astrological events and references in one piece. From enerus moon expedition to the ancient weapons, Pluto(n), Uranus(os), Poseidon/neptune And the sun God, or the lunar(ian's), to celestial dragons, celestial being an operative word for planets (earth is a celestial body.) Then you have the elder stars all being named after planets, mercury, Venus, mars, Jupiter, Saturn. Blackbeard having techniques like blackhole, and even the empty null and void/darkness of space (maybe his fruit isn't darkness, but space, if luffys was sungod Nika, because he also has gravitational powers). All those references and I'm sure there are more, but when Roger got to the final island and laughed and he said it was too early, maybe it was simply because the last island points to space. They didn't have the technology to go to space, but with how advanced the ancient civilization was, and with vegapunks technology, and where the original lunarians and skypeians came from, maybe it all points to returning to space.

The one thing that is just preventing me to theorise what's the One Piece/what's on Laugh Tale is the "we arrived too early" line. I cannot get my head around what that would be. I believe the One Piece is "the mean to unify all the seas", but why would it be time sensitive ?

Because Shirahoshi, one of the two Sovereigns, had not yet been born, she is one of the most important parts of this story. The second is probably Luffy, who also hadn't been born at Roger's time. The combination of the two is what will cause the world to turn upside down.
