Love seeing all three of you and talking about one of my favorite topics. This was also an excellent example of why you should watch an entire vide before you say things because I was about to be upset and then I got super excited when God Loves Man Kills came up. I still have the exact graphic novel you displayed and to this day it's one of my all time favorites. Keep up the awesome work guys, love The Greatest Pod and the Reboot It crew!

great convo. One of the things i loved as a kid watching this was i though they just followed the comic arcs and adapted them to the cartoon format. Seeing the Phoenix saga in the cartoon and then realizing it was the actual comic story blew my mind. I don't know how faithful the adaptation was but thought it was amazing. Always wondered why more cartoons based off of comics did not do the same thing.

X-men is definitely a legendary cartoon show but id argue that justice league and justice league unlimited is probably the best gateway into comics or that world in general . Counting all those shows batman tas, superman tas ,batman beyond, static shock etc. All those are connected. It was the animated mcu before the mcu lol.
