Simply making the xk68's visible and ir lasers co aligned would put it at the top of the list for me among all the budget options. I'm trying to get into night vision right now. Co aligned lasers is a must to me.

Somogear is the bottom line I would ever trust. I've been running their new ngal for over 3000 rounds. It's fantastic. I've been using SG for over a year and seen a bunch of iterations. Their switches are also on par with any "real" ones now. It's crazy how far theyve come.

Loose sms mount, barely locks to rail and is to tall, IR illuminator model wasn't available went I ordered mine so going to convert wh light to IR and pot it since it's guts will be on the table

Bought the Perst 4 clone in tan. I hear podding the circuit board and surrounding buttons will help resolve in flickering issues that may arise from shooting and recoil. Though in the video you mentioned loose battery cap, Im hoping it’s not the internals.

Good point, it may be a loose wire internally. If it stops working altogether I'll try to bust it open to see what's going on.

I have the gen 1 an2 of the sk68 great product have not had any problems with it. Don't like the pressure switch they can do better, in my opinion

I was hoping the SOTAC would be better. Looks like ill have to bite the bullet and buy a holosun if i want a cheaper LAM.

My only complaint with the xk68 is the god awful cross bolt on the picatinny mount. It actually ended up chewing up some of my rail slots. They need a square recoil lug instead. Preferably a dual one.

After a few weeks, you think you'd still recommend the xk68 over the PERST? Thinking about picking up an XK68..even though we have to pay the SMS laser tax now. Just want a placeholder till I bite the bullet on a holosun 321

There's a lot of online presence saying they do. I used my AK as a worse case scenario for both of these devices. Once I get more devices I may revisit them to see how they do on a low recoil system. Thanks for watching!

@@nickydickyvidsI got one yesterday, a store in my town had 20% off. I have to say i’m impressed of the quality. It’s rock solid! i saw some guy’s on youtube filled them with epoxi so nothing could come loose. I open up my Perst-4 yesterday but it was very well made so i will use it as it is.

My XK68 SMS is on my 7.62x39 AR Pistol with suppressor and it has held zero so far. Make sure you loctite the mount with two screws underneath.

Lol the keyboard warriors are out I guess. SMSlaser has active ads for the XK68 for use on rifles. For the perst, actual WADSN listings are for airsoft, but the generic sellers list it for hunting rifles. Thanks for watching!
