My sister was probably one of his biggest fans, he really helped her through a lot mentally, she felt seen and heard by his music. So his passing traumatized her a lot, she stopped listening to his music a lil while after his departure, because hearing it just made her heart hurt. I remember hearing about the shooting, and just praying he made it, reading the news in live time, having to go in my sisters room, seeing her nap, and pretty much just waiting for her to wake up to this horrific news…I’ve heard death screams before, and didn’t want to wait for her to see it online…cs I knew what would happen…we all clowned her over him, but seeing that hurt? Hearing those screams? I can only imagine how the ppl who actually knew him in real life felt…I remember everybody consoling her, she wasn’t herself for a while after that. My heartaches for him, and what he could’ve been today, but my heart also aches for the lives he made just a little bit better by simply being himself. He saved my sisters life the day she heard his music. Thank God for that, everything happens for a reason, and tho we all make mistakes, when you decide to do better, God will help you. I can only hope, wish, and imagine that he’s somewhere at peace.

I vouch for this right here. Also, if you’re a person who has to.. pay attention to your surroundings, whenever you get to a stop light. Leave enough room between yourself and the vehicle in front of you to be able to pull out and speed away if need be. People tend to pull up way to close to the back of people’s car, and a lot of the time if it really came down to it, they would all be stuck! Plus not to mention all these rappers getting caught in traffic? It’s almost always at a stop light ! Wonder why.

He panicked bro, X was on edge and his last words were pretty much "What is this for?". You can't think straight in a situation like that. Either its flight, fight, or freeze, and X froze. He only fought when they tried to take his valuables, but even then he was in a state of shock. His uncle went for flight and dipped, I don't even think he had time to talk with X when the black SUV pulled up, since some people say X told his uncle to run, but I'm sure he ran on his own. Also take in consideration that the BMW prevents reversing if your passenger-side door is open, which it was when the uncle dipped and didn't close the door, so X couldn't go backwards. And since he panicked, he couldn't drive away through the gap. If X was thinking clearly, I highly doubt he would forfeit his life over $50k, a branded bag and a gold chain, when he signed a 10 million dollar deal for another studio album just a while before. But in a state of panic, he fought back and that's what went down.

X had an open knife? That’s the first time I’ve heard that too. Not that it changes anything or justifies what they did to him, but it is odd that no one covered that part. I definitely would’ve remembered hearing about that too. It’s also crazy that it took the jury eight days of deliberations before finding these guys guilty. It’s such an obvious open-and-shut case. They were very clearly on surveillance footage, showed off the money online, and had one of the codefendants that was actually involved tell on everyone for the role that they played in the crime, but Tory Lanez’s jury only took a couple of hours to find him guilty. Literally everyone that was involved in the Tory Lanez case was extremely drunk at the time of the incident and all of them were proven to be blatant liars. None of them are actually credible. Who knows what really happened that night, and yet it only took the jury a few hours to come to their decision. I guess that’s just the difference between Florida and California’s judicial system though.

Bullet wounds can often be hard to find without looking thoroughly because a lot of the time there’s not external bleeding. It’ll just be a hole in the skin which wouldn’t be easily seen through clothes

I followed X religiously at the time, his body should’ve never been posted online man, first thing I fuckin saw on my timeline after my brother told me he got shot (was at an interview for a job that day and my phone died at 11am so I didn’t get any of the messages my friends/family that knew how much I loved X, tried to send. I didn’t leave orientation til 6pm and still oblivious about the situation, I was so happy that I got hired that I played both MoonLight and Butthole Girl on the way home and the last song that played before I got out the car was Up Like an Insomniac. Soon as I walked in my house and told my mom excitedly that I had got the job, my brother ran out his room and said “you didn’t see my messages? Ya boy got shot” instantly ruined what should’ve been a great day 😢
