The R7 is misunderstood, it’s not a replacement for the R6 nor is it meant to do 200, it’s simply a daily driver, stunts, twisties hybrid that can reach 145 mph So if your just all about adrenaline straight line riding, you won’t be impressed

R7/MT-07 is low-end torque. If someone was to ride it like a sport bike, it will feel weak on the top-end. To say it feels like a 300, I doubt it buddy. 😂

That's why I'm waiting on the R9.... I had an XSR900 and that bike was just a monster and blast to ride. Sure it doesn't do 200mph but it's fast with the torque to 100+! The problem with most new bikes is the throttle restrictions via ECU making them feel gutless down low to meet emissions, an ECU flash from a reputable tuner like 2 Wheel Dynoworks would make a world of a difference in power delivery and throttle response removing all those restrictions. Doesn't help some people also shift these bikes wayyyyy too early when you need to be maximizing the powerband and shifting closer to redline.

Hey adobo. Quick question… do you feel like it’s difficult to get a knee down on the RSV4? I rode my buddies in the twisties and idk if it was the height of the bike or the angle of the rear sets or the width of the tank but I felt like I wasn’t getting my knee very far off the bike. Meanwhile on my R6 and Sixxer I feel like I can drag knee without leaning very far at all. Just wondering what you think about this.

if your car is pulling to the right when you brake, that means you are only getting brake on the right side. The left caliper might be stuck open due to corrosion or theres air in that line

Yeah R7 is slow in a straight line but has good brakes and suspension and it leads its category on the track (thats what sportbikes are designed to do btw). Also how come the car's footage shows some good tight corners and yours only show straights and wide ass corners?

One would assume that the R7 would have a 700cc motor… which of course isn’t the case. That’s why I call it a scam.

The r7 was just overy hyped and expectation were made since it was released after discontinuing r6 so generally the consumers thinks its a replacement for the r6 when its not because 1 its a inline twin cylinder and not inline 4, can’t beat inline 4. I can argue that even the zx4rr is better than the r7. All that said, r7 is still a great bike for beginner riders.

R6 is a fun track bike but there us nothing wrong with an R7 for track AND street... all those kids and "trying hard to be cool" content creators that disrespect this class of Sportbike are oblivious or purposely avoiding how much approachable sport bikes are needed right now for the sport in the face of failed sales of Superaports and Superbikes and tightening emissions. Supersports and Superbikes have become too much, simply no longer practical in changing times.
