Deck building is an essential and high level skill to compete. But in the end the deck is just a tool. What matters is if you can pilot it to the finish line.

There are very few decision points in a game of yugioh despite the deckbuilding the game is not complex and games like dota or league are exponentially more complex requiring a much higher volume of decisions and important decisions. tldr yugioh aint shit lmao you need to get out of ur bubble

I am so pleased to see that Yugioh is becoming more like Professional Wrestling at the top levels. The characters, the confidence, the ban list reveal, and the game in and of itself being all pageantry and flashiness- it deserves over the top characters like Trif as the champ.

This game has nothing compared to literally every other real esport. Yugioh also holds a fraction of the complexity of other esports unfortunately. Other games are legitimately more complex, requires a higher volume of complex decisions and are straigjt up more competetive. Yugioh is probably around 15 years behind at this point.
