Man, this is insane. Weird dynamic watching this in 2024 - most of these songs I remember being huge and can recite it still all this time later, word-for-word fondly, with what I consider to be a turning point when I went from a child-mindset, to having an adult thought process. Pop-punk/emo, Nu-metal fueled my latter teenage years before I really appreciated country music. Now looking back to my youth I've realized My eldest born child is now about the same age I was when these transformative tracks were on the air. I really need to give my kids more time to talk and respect what they say, because this felt like only a couple of years ago comparatively. I may be wiser now, but I had some pretty big ideas regarding the world and had my own ambitions at that age. I'm late to the party, but thanks to the algorithm I still made it. great job dude!
