After 3 years of watching I have finally realised why its the content feels so good to watch is that even thou you are a king of monotone, way you speak delivers (conveys? Dunno english hard language) emotions pretty well. Example your video of quitting wow hit really hard and you could feel the bitternes/sadness. Stay strong and be the monotone king youtube deserves
@Malfunkshun873 ай бұрын
Dude, I don’t think I can really convey the level of comfort your videos give me. I started watching in fall of 2020 when I got back into Classic. At the time my younger brother was fully engrossed in it and I joined his guild. We played through TBC after that. All the while I would binge your videos. He passed away in October of 2022, but something about listening to your monotone while wandering around in Azeroth brings me back to that time I spent with him. Thanks for all the videos and memories Show. I truly appreciate you.

I've been watching your videos for a long time now but never played wow. I just enjoy your monotone voice, it's relaxing. You seem like a sincere and down to earth guy as well which i can appreciate in this youtube landscape. I can put one of your videos and just zone out. I'm just one person but i don't care what you talk about, i'll keep tuning in.

Dude it's you that makes any content you make great. You could make just about any topic interesting and i am here for the duration. Keep up the honest work. And if the content you for some reason isn't honest, or is just for show. Well I'm proud to say I'm a mark either way. Your cool, genuine and relatable. That's probably what we or at least myself miss you so much when you were away from KZbin. You're the friend i don't know nor do i want to, it's intriguing, that makes me think and make my video game more enjoyable. Plus you responded to a comment i made. That means more to a person than we realize. Do what makes you happy and I'm sure it will be awesome

As someone who has patiently awaited the return of the king and checked your channel occasionally during your well deserved break, I do love having so many new videos from you to watch. And the reason I love your channel is your authenticity and, or course, your calming (i.e. monotone) voice. But seriously, you could probably hold a one hour talk about the pebble stuck in your left shoe and I'd still gladly listen to it. Your videos are an essential part to my winding down on the couch after a long day, so thanks for that! I really appreciate all the effort that you put into your videos and love your new formats as well!

I think the sentiment that always will stick with me is from Yoshida, the mind behind FFXIV and other titles (i just have only played ffxiv he's been apart of). To play it at your own pace and take breaks if you need it - I think it resonates very much with the kind of community and culture that FFXIV has made over the years - and its become more accepted not just in the community for players to take cares of months or years sometimes, to creators that primarily just focused on that content checking out other games or styles (in particularly if that channel started just as a FFXIV one). Looking forward to the videos!

I think you'd bring a really refreshing take on MMOs with that series idea, especially the older ones. You shine a big light on the "private/fan-made server" side of the genre which a lot of the older MMOs are reliant on now to keep it's memory alive. With your insight and community I think you'd not only be putting out interesting content but it'd help bolster their popularity at least by a little bit. Also, bye Aires 👋

Let's go Star Wars Galaxies, I still remember shortly after the pandoras box video. You were streaming SoD on the hunter and I brought up how popular it made the private scene for the game. People were posting it on reddit and pinning it in the discords for new players. One of the main servers said they saw over a thousand player increase after the video as first time players. I love how one small creator can create such a epic video that it encourages people to try something new even if it is super old.

You should take a look at covering the mmorpg "Tibia" in your series. It was a huge game in parts of Europe and Brazil back in the late 90s and early 2000, while also having some decent impact in NA.
