Its purpose is to spread the cultural heritage of the Yemenite Jewish community / we do not own several of the videos used in its creation ' if that offences anyone's rights please tell us

i am from yemen and i am a muslim. I think that their traditions should be kept but i know there are people who wants to get ride of it and i am very much against it. And I gave all my support to all Jewish Muslim and i hope that they would continue to living in yemen and to keep there traditions going in yemen.

@@Channel-ml4qv Lol ..Yemeni Jews are from Arab tribe named Qahtan . Almost all Yemeni Muslim , Christian and Jew are from Qahtan tribe. The Yemeni Jews forefather converted from paganism to Judism in 4th century

@@xS146roar for some reason I can't read all of your comment. That's annoying. There's different types of Yemeni Jews. Some descend from Himyarite Arab tribes others come from Israelite tribes. The Habbani Jews have no Israelite tribal lineage and are solely Qahtanite Arabs.

Hey! Thank you for sharing. Can this dance be danced outside the religious context? Is it offensive if a foreigner dances to Yemeni folk music and takes a few steps? I'm a dancer and I want to insert Yemenite dance steps, if possible, in a choreography, but I don't want to risk offending anyone.

I don't know what you're refering to. In my community, Jews of Yemenite descent are a minority here and their skin color is quite distinct, even those that have married Ashkenazi parents. Even I, a dark skinned Ashkenazi, would never pass as a person of Yemenite descent. Some people think I'm Israeli but my background is Ashkenazi Hungrian and Austrian.
