Separating Hinduism from yoga is like separating a mother from her child. Every intricate part of yoga is deeply rooted in the Vedas and Upanishad. We have to understand that Hinduism has fundamental differences with Christianity. There is a clear rejection of material existence and an emphasis on unifying the individual soul with the supreme consciousness that is the Paramathma. The Sankhya, that talks about detaching oneself from fruits of actions and concentrating on his karma rather than for his own selfish needs is what stands at odds with Christianity. Christianity is fundamentally selfish in nature where by the devotees seeks all the love and affection from a higher being rather than realising that such love and affection are mere illusions that are fleeting and temporary. Yoga aims to detach the person from these illusions and make him equipped with tools to see the world the way it is. In Christianity, human being is the centre of the universe and everything else in his resource. In Hinduism, the individual is just one constituents of the infinitely large universe that has no beginning and has no end. And it is his lifelong in the world to get himself reunited with the universe which can also be called Paramathma In conclusion, I strongly believe that Christianity and Yoga are fundamentally different from each other and any attempt at making a christian yoga is a futile effort.

This was amazing! Totally uplifting. I have been doing yoga at my local Ymca and recently started feeling convicted when she would say things like the third eye, the gods above, your strength belongs to you, you hold the power, yada, yada yada. I knew it was not right so I am so thankful for this! I feel better physically that my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and I'm taking care of it so I can continue to do the work of God and also I am speaking to My Heavenly Father as I am doing it! quite a beautiful experience of meditation with body movement and breath. I came to this in a rather confused and over-worked place in my life, so it was helpful to bring me to a prayerful and listening posture when sitting still or journaling have not been adequate to the task. The voices really slowed me down and the movement through the exercises was calming yet used the full range of muscle groups. I wish there was an entire channel of yoga prayer workouts.

So many believers are so disconnected from the body and suffer as a result of being over-stressed and using their bodies like machines vs nurturing the body with the mind and the spirit. There's nothing wrong with applying effort in order to enhance your health, wellness, and well-being... but you can do all of that without "Yoga". Don't let pure ideas and pure intentions/actions become perverted with "New Age" concepts and thoughts. Christ is the King of kings 🤴

Yoga is rooted in Hinduism which consists of spiritual practices that acknowledges deities & false gods. Unfortunately, many Christians or people of faith unknowingly practice yoga thinking they can separate the religion from the exercise but you can not. For any believers, this is actually very dangerous because you are “opening chakras” and opening yourself up to demonic influences. If you want to stretch, breathe and meditate, there are many other ways like Pilates or just simply relaxing your body while stretching that does not include “Yoga stretches” which are forms of worship stretching. YOGA: The god of yoga is called Ishvara, and represented by "Om" Yoga Sutras, 1.25: The god Ishvara is the source of all knowledge. What the Bible says: Deuteronomy 5:7: I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before (besides) me. Deuteronomy 12:30: . . . be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying “How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same." You must not worship the Lord your God in their way . . 1 Timothy 4:1: The Spirit clearly says that in later times, some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Psalm 111:10: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

I am a Christian and find this stretching video challenging and full of biblical prayers to fill my mind. I have been stretching and praying with these 2 through their video for years now! Thank you Jesus for inspiring these 2 to make a video that Christians can do without the non-Christian elements 🙏

Great for keeping your mind on Him! As Christians we MUST not conform to this world . We are in it but not of it. We cannot remove everything of this world from our lives but rather find ways to prove whatsoever is lovely, right, pure, and true. Think on these things. They have done an awesome job of doing just that.
