The way I see it, even though Kuma's personalities and memories are gone, he can still recognise Bonney's voice. He registered her happiness as something to be happy about. There may be some part of his human brain left. Also, you all might have missed this but Oda secretly called Kidd a common thug. When Bartolomeo was telling Shanks to leave Luffy out, he said he did what a common thug does. He picked a fight with am emperor for no reason at all. As we know, both Bart and Kidd got one shotted. Very interesting how the only Straw Hats that appear to have gone missing are the East Blue Straw Hats (I think Chopper’s in the group panel jumping by the giant), who ALSO happen to be the only ones drinking from the tankards at the banquet, that JUST so happen to have the absinthe in that makes them hallucinate… my thinking is the East Blue Straw Hats hallucinated and were ‘kidnapped’ somehow, maybe for their own safety so they didn’t fall off the ship and drown? So about the Kuma and Bonney scene, I do think Kuma is genuinely smiling here. One of the first things were told on Egghead is that you can’t take the base nature out of a modified creature. Kuma at his core is someone who would sacrifice himself for a stranger in need, and even more for people he loved. At this point Kuma is just a ghost of his former self trapped in a broken machine. Franky and/or Lilith may be able to do something once they get to a lab, but as of now he’s just a ghost. But even as a fragment of the man he once was, Kuma is being there for his daughter like he’s always tried to be. Now if next chapter he’s just up walking and talking like the old Kuma, then we got some problems. But I do t think k that’ll be the case. I think k he’ll come back, I mean it’s Oda, but hopefully not until there’s been obvious work done to/with him.

I have a feeling that this lego room is created by a Devil fruit user with either the Burroku Burroku no mi block-block fruit or Renga Renga no mi and I think this is Oda's tribute to Shaman King whose villain Hao Asakura had a powerful henchman named Brocken Meyer who was a dwarf who used spirit infused lego to attack people and I think this tribute will be a holy knight from the Manmeyer Family who uses either the block or brick fruits.

With the other straw hats likely landing to the village of elbaf, it seems more fitting if we are rolling with the split up story that those who disappeared were brought to the castle of elbaf

Honestly, if Oda was going to pull his "dead but not dead bullshit" with anyone, I *HOPE* it would be Kuma. I think it would mess up the story, but I don't give a fuck, that angel has been thought WAAAAAAY to much shit to not have a happy ending!
