At this point, it's almost like I'm just here to complain. So I'll just zip it. Mostly. Good things first. Chef T's composure was better in this episode. Ope also suddenly remembers his duty as a judge is to taste regardless. They all also seemed to agree on what they liked or didn't like. Now on to the business of the day. - I don't know what goes on in that camp but the judges or whoever have instilled so much fear in the contestants that those guys can barely get their words out when asked questions. Even the seemingly older ones. That's what happens when someone is being put down a lot. Which brings me to my next point - I'm a huge fan of chef Dee but to watch him use such vituperations on the contestants was cringe. Common now!! They don't work for you. Even if they did, it's still not okay. Stupid, bullshit, nonsense etc. That's not what makes you a general nor does it earn you respect. Little wonder the contestants cower in fear. - Who else hated how they kept repeating, "So you wasted food?" Listen! You either have enough resources to do a cooking show or you don't. Watch international cooking shows for reference please. If they have to improvise along the way, what would you have them do? If they were cooking at home under no pressure, there would be less wastage, if any. A bit of the judges' characters can be attributed to the 'anyhowness' that thrives in naija. If they had saved Ayalo and Sandra one more time, I could've removed my teeth. I was so done with them as a pair. Eni's outfit 😂😂 my first reaction was "what is he wearing?" One of the contestants should have plucked off a flower on his outfit and used it for Ope's plating. P.S. Whoever edited this episode should keep his job. Fire the editor from last week. And if they're the same person, dash him one knock courtesy of viewers. #Irise

I started watching this show yesterday and i didn't follow the episodes respectively, j just watched it as it comes. Although, I've been watching non Nigerian cooking shows and I'll say, this is an eye opening cooking show. It is relatable in terms of the ingredients used and all. Then infusing one or two ingredients together to make one balanced diet meal as we are not a full table meal cultured is great. I love this show and i commend the judges🎉

I love cooking shows the last one I watched recently is the culinary class wars on Netflix. I am so glad to see Nigeria doing something similar to a master chef kind of cooking show. Thumbs 👍🏼 and I hope it continues and expanded to other African countries with a more improved touch. I am happy 😊

I just want to understand something They were given 30 minutes and within that time, the judges are to ask the chefs about the name of their dish and the rest, i understand that but I've never seen a food show where they scold them on their cooking space, encourage teams and motivate them. In my own opinion, it doesn't sit well, those statements are to be made during the presentation. I understand Chef general is somewhat a food police but he should've kept some statements for the presentation because such remarks could throw them off balance when at that moment they're to be time conscious and fast. I honestly think Ayalo and Sandra’s loss of priority was their disaster recipe. You’re competing with other teams for 10m and yet it looks like your major concern is letting us know you don’t like each other or trying to prove that the other person will flop the task if you don’t contribute. I see a lot of comments and I may not support the judges being vulgar but before criticizing the show, we need to know why certain things are the way they are. 1. Timing- street food is fast food… on the streets. In little time, you should be able to cook something because most of your customers are on the go. 2. Ingredients and wastage- in street food, you’re making the most with the little you have, as small scale business, you don’t have the luxury of wastage. 3. Plating- I believe one skill the show is trying to give the contestants is the plating. One skill that’ll separate you from every other street food vendor. Not world class plating but something that’ll look pleasing to the eyes. Basically presentation. 4. Cleanliness- no one wants to eat in a dirty environment. I know people that have stopped eating in a lot of fast foods because they saw something dirty. It’s a competition. Everyone needs to bring their A game.

I didn’t appreciate the way the judges kept distracting the contestants. Going over to the contestants asking them questions and giving them orders. They can criticize them all they want but I think it would have been more appropriate to wait till the end especially since they were so pressed for time
