The Dan Tian is the Greater Omentum, both males and females have it. It includes a dielectric membrane, like a capacitor it can charge up with electrical energy from a potential difference of Yin and Yang (negative and positive). In most people it is only used to about 2-5% of it's charge capacity. The charge from the Dan Tian can be distributed to the rest of the body via the Du and Ren channels

Thank you. I'm leaning so much from your videos. It has been over 10 years since I studied Chinese medicine, I fell astray, unfortunately, but I feel so confident with the help of your excellent, top notch material. About the Dan Tian. I can't confirm it officially. But, just speaking from having pieced together everything I understand so far from qigong and bioelectricity. I'm very certain this explanation is accurate to good degree, so I just thought I'd share it

@Acuproacademy
@Acuproacademy 5 жыл бұрын
Elsa Hultin the TCM spleen hates cold & damp, the stomach hates dryness and heat 👍😊
@eliefayad4346
@eliefayad4346 4 жыл бұрын
Elsa it’s 100% true . That’s why in China people drink warm water Dryness is the energy of the Yang Ming and the Stomach is part of it. Stomach hates humidity as it is his opposite ( humidity is related to the spleen. So unless you have a depleted Spleen you should avoid humidity) Concerning heat: it’s the excess of heat that is dangerous to the stomach but most people have yin excess ( cold and humidity) of the stomach and therefore are in need of heat.
