Thank you for your detailed explanations. I took a high dose of vitamin d as prescribed by my doc and I had purple lips one day. However I don’t have purple lips now. Is there still blood stasis? My body started developing weird symptoms sharp pain and pressure on nerves, veins or blood vessels. Certain area seems to hardened. I was worried and I took some safflower and tian qi. But I think my blood is too watery now. Bleeding & bruising easily. I was diagnosed with damp heat. Liver & spleen issue from tcm perspective. But in western side, both have been checked and everything is normal. I’m struggling with my diet because of my digestive system. Your feedback is much appreciated.

Treatment for liver cirrhosis?
@Acuproacademy8 ай бұрын
TCM doesn’t work that way, we treat the person as a whole, not the disorder. We look at the root cause & address it! We look at the tongue, observe the skin, eyes, hair...we take the pulse, ask questions on sleep, digestion, diet, immune system...and then we make a TCM diagnosis and create a treatment plan accordingly 🙏

What if you have Liver Qi Stagnation AND spleen qi deficiency in terms of diet? With liver stagnation, I see it's always about fresh greens and vegetables vs. Spleen qi def., you shouldn't eat raw foods. Is cooked greens the way to go? (By the way, I love your videos! I love reading your blog for more info on herbal uses. I always find it difficult to differentiate when to use one remedy vs. another, e.g for spleen qi deficiency, do you use Gui Pi Tang or Zi Sheng, when both have similar indications for bloating, teeth marks on tongue, etc. If there's concurrent conditions, e.g. Liver Stagnation AND Spleen Deficiency, would you use a Chai Hu Shu Gan that could address both OR a Xiao Yao (Free and Easy) AND a Gui Pi Tang to address both separately. If you had more videos on Herbal formulas and how to differentiate when to use one to treat two conditions or multiple formulas at once, I could watch that for hours!)
@Acuproacademy3 жыл бұрын
Hi Floyd, These are great questions! I don't have a lot of herbal posts but they're coming! 😀 Xiao Yao Wan is the best formula for Lv Qi stagnation creating SP Qi deficiency (hands down!). It addresses both patterns perfectly. For diet, steam greens & asparagus are perfect for LV and gentle on the Spleen, add cooked berries and apples, lemon water (room temperature), and for the Spleen, as you mentioned: cooked foods, salmon, eggs, yams, and carrots (orange & yellow). Cheers! 🍎🍋🍏

Is HGB normal but also missing blood in an organ? How that happens?
@Acuproacademy Жыл бұрын
Tcm is much more complex than blood cells, it looks at energy , not just a physical organ 🙏
@Winter396 Жыл бұрын
@@Acuproacademy In other words, according to TCM, it is possible for HGB to be normal but to have a deficiency in a single organ. Is this because blood circulation is poor, that is, blood cannot reach an organ sufficiently and there is a lack of blood there?
@Acuproacademy Жыл бұрын
@@Winter396 it depends. Tcm organs are an energy comprised of meridians, emotions, physical aspect and spiritual as well. It’s a whole system not separated like blood cells for example.

Why is there a feeling of lump in the throat in liver qi stagnation?

Because Qi stagnation results in water not moving which leads to dampness and then phlegm 🥰
@Winter396 Жыл бұрын
@@Acuproacademy Thank you very much. So what is the reason for this lump feeling in the throat and not in any other organ?
@Acuproacademy Жыл бұрын

@@Acuproacademy So, is the cause of qi stagnation due to stress, but I still don't understand why it is in the throat and not in another organ?
@Acuproacademy Жыл бұрын
@@Winter396 if we get stressed it stops flow of qi and get stuck in the throat where our voice box is, which is why it’s often the case with repressed stressed and anger. Other organs have issues too, like when Qi stagnate it stops blood circulation and create heart issues

high pitch tinnitus belong to the liver syndrome? and low pitch tinnitus belong to the kidney syndrome? and the reason is..... please let me know why, thanks
@Acuproacademy Жыл бұрын
It’s all about foundation 🌷 Kidney relates to the Ear and as we age ear issue like tinnitus can come in and be permanent (Essence decline). Liver when stressed may get stagnation and then even more Yang rising which can lead to tinnitus that comes and goes (high pitch noise are excess, low pitch noise are deficiency). There’s more to this explanation but it would take me a full lecture 🥰
